VAGINAL DELIVERY = $3,376; C-SECTION WITH LABOR = $6,500^^^

Lifetime cost of brachial plexus injury = $1,000,000^^^

^^^Herbst MA. Treatment of suspected fetal macrosomia: A cost-effectiveness
analysis. Am J Obstet Gynecol. 2005 Sep;193(3 Suppl):1035-9. PubMed
abstract.

JUST THINK... As they risk $1,000,000 brachial plexus injuries,
obstetricians are blaming babies for being big - failing to mention that
they (obstetricians) are closing birth canals up to 30% and keeping birth
canals closed the "extra" up to 30% when babies get stuck. (I'm going by the
PubMed abstract. I would love to learn that Herbst mentioned the
birth-canal-closing; but I doubt s/he did.)

Other injuries likely result from obstetricians closing birth canals the
"extra" up to 30%.

Obstetricians are lying to cover-up.

See the Four OB Lies (they are whoppers) listed in "Dents in babies'
skulls," URL above.

Becky and Kathy and VOLUNTERS: Women shouldn't have to ASK for the "extra"
up to 30% of pelvic outlet area for their babies. Most women don't KNOW to
ask. Volunteers should tell women how easy it is to allow their birth
canals to open the "extra" up to 30%.

Volunteers might just be able to prevent a lot of unnecessary c-sections,
episiotomies and forceps deliveries...

Volunteers might also be able to stop obstetricians from asphyxiating babies
and robbing them of up to 50% of their blood volume.

Retired obstetrician George Malcolm Morley, MB ChB FACOG says the robbery
happens to EVERY CESAREAN BABY. It also happens in most "cord blood
banking" births...
