Default For Those of you on Zoloft...

I remember when I was first on Zoloft that I had increased panic when
introducing it to my system. I spoke with my doctor about the panic attacks
I'm still having during this pregnancy and he suggested increasing the
medication from 50mg/day to 75mg/day. I increased today because I had a
doozy of an attack yesterday and I just cannot take it anymore. None of the
normal techniques are working for me. Just curious if any of you had side
effects from increasing once you were already on the medication.

Thanks!

I would be inclined to think that you had the attack just because you are on
too low of a dose. 50mg is really almost candy. An average therapeutic
dose is 100mg, I know many women on 200mg. 75 is better but if you find
that isn't working don't be afraid to go up to 100.

Take Care,

I'd rather be a mother, than anyone on earth.
Bringing up a child or two, of unpretentious birth.
I'd rather nurse a rosy babe, with warm lips on my breast,
Than wear a queen's medallion, above a heart less blest.
I'd rather tuck a little child, all safe and sound in bed.
Than twine a chain of diamonds, about my foolish head.
I'd rather wash a smudgy face, with round, bright baby eyes.
Than paint the pageantry of fame, or walk among the wise.

I've been on 50 mg for the better part of 7 years and it's done the job...I
was on 100 mg for a short while, but when things settled down a bit I went
back down to 50. Just hoping something stops these attacks because they are
getting worse instead of better. ARGH!
