AN award-winning foster carer who gave a home to hundreds of vulnerable
children has been jailed after he admitted sexually abusing a young girl.
Vile Derek Kirton, who had been praised by Peterborough City Council for
his dedication and hard work, has been locked up for eight years.

The 61-year-old, who has been a foster carer since 1986 and has looked
after hundreds of children, admitted abusing the girl after watching her
undress, Peterborough Crown Court heard.

Kirton handed himself into police and admitted abusing the girl for nine
months.

He admitted his offences and told police he used the internet to search
for porn and lusted after young girls.

He pleaded guilty to 13 counts of assaulting a child under 13 and four
charges of causing a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity.

Prosecutor Jacqueline Matthews-Stroud said that the victim told police
she had been abused every morning for about a year.

Kirton broke down as his defence barrister, Ruby Hamid, said: "His whole
life will be lost when he is released from prison.

"He will have no family, no partner and no home. "He has been punished
severely and the effect will be long lasting.''

Imagine that, 6.4 children die at the hands of the very agencies that
are supposed to protect them and only 1.5 at the hands of parents per
100,000 children. CPS perpetrates more abuse, neglect, and sexual abuse
and kills more children then parents in the United States. If the
citizens of this country hold CPS to the same standards that they hold
parents too. No judge should ever put another child in the hands of ANY
government agency because CPS nationwide is guilty of more harm and
death than any human being combined. CPS nationwide is guilty of more
human rights violations and deaths of children then the homes from which
they were removed. When are the judges going to wake up and see that
they are sending children to their death and a life of abuse when
children are removed from safe homes based on the mere opinion of a
bunch of social workers.
