Protective Services: Ha! No Wonder They Change Their Name

Its an outrage. Recently I whitnessed my sister punching her minor
daughter, and making threats to kill her. Not a love tap, but full blown
punches. Besides the fact that its wrong, I am going to school to become
and educator and do not want to risk my family and future career over a
bad parenting choice. I called what is now called Department of Human
Services, formarly known as several other names including Protective
Services. Right from the get go I was questioned and treated like I had
done the beating. The woman taking the call asked very little about my
neice and my sister, but was focused on me and my family. She was very
rude in her questioning and used poor choice of scarcasim. That night
after the call I had asked my sister to leave my house and told her I
called DHS. After she left she was on her way to the other relative who
had my niece. She made several calls threating the child. Police were
called, reports were made. The next day I called the caseworker back to
tell about the previos nights calls and actions, and she refused to
listen. Saying she was too busy processing the other info. Later that
day I recieved a call from the other relitive saying that they said it
was safe for my niece to go back home with her mother. "What!" The
little girl had welts on her arms, the relative said my niece told the
worker she didn't want to go home. She was afraid. But that lady had the
nerve to say it was safe to go back with her mother. Her mother doesn't
have to take a single class. This was not the first beating either. Not
the first time DHS was called.

There needs to be a reform to"DHS" aka "Protective Services". I've known
people DHS harrassed for months and months with no home visit for a
bruise on the arm from playing on the playground (I know it was a
playground bruise, my son was the one who ran into him) . But in a
matter of 24 hours a woman that continuiously beats, and neglects her
dauther has to do no anger management, no parenting classes.

I've known others that have been harrassed for being the whistle
blowers. Do you?

DAILY BASIS THEN ALL OTHER AGENCIES COMBINED INCLUDING THE NSA / CIA
WIRETAPPING PROGRAM....

CPS Does not protect children...
It is sickening how many children are subject to abuse, neglect and even
killed at the hands of Child Protective Services.

Imagine that, 6.4 children die at the hands of the very agencies that
are supposed to protect them and only 1.5 at the hands of parents per
100,000 children. CPS perpetrates more abuse, neglect, and sexual abuse
and kills more children then parents in the United States. If the
citizens of this country hold CPS to the same standards that they hold
parents too. No judge should ever put another child in the hands of ANY
government agency because CPS nationwide is guilty of more harm and
death than any human being combined. CPS nationwide is guilty of more
human rights violations and deaths of children then the homes from which
they were removed. When are the judges going to wake up and see that
they are sending children to their death and a life of abuse when
children are removed from safe homes based on the mere opinion of a
bunch of social workers.
