SUIT OVER L.I. HOUSE OF HORRORS
By KIERAN CROWLEY

http://www.nypost.com/seven/05242007... n_crowley.htm

May 24, 2007 -- The father who uncovered a filth-filled house of horrors
on Long Island where his ex-wife and their three kids were living has
filed a notice of claim against cops and social workers for ignoring his
warnings that the children were in an unhealthy environment.

Ray Young Jr., 42, filed the notice preserving his right to sue, which
could turn into a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against the Suffolk County
Police and Social Services Department.

In February, Young twice alerted cops that he believed there was no heat
or hot water at the Lindenhurst home where his wife Deborah Young, 47,
lived with their three daughters, the legal papers charge.

But Young says he was told by cops that the complaints were for social
services to investigate.

Young said he then called the Child Protective Services and was told
that workers would investigate within 24 hours. But the child-welfare
workers, the papers say, never went to the home. Young broke into the
house on Feb. 14 - and found a putrid mess, including bottles of urine.

CURRENTLY CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES VIOLATES MORE CIVIL RIGHTS ON A
DAILY BASIS THEN ALL OTHER AGENCIES COMBINED INCLUDING THE NATIONAL
SECURITY AGENCY/CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY WIRETAPPING PROGRAM....

CPS Does not protect children...
It is sickening how many children are subject to abuse, neglect and even
killed at the hands of Child Protective Services.

Recent numbers have increased significantly for CPS

*Perpetrators of Maltreatment*

Physical Abuse CPS 160, Parents 59
Sexual Abuse CPS 112, Parents 13
Neglect CPS 410, Parents 241
Medical Neglect CPS 14 Parents 12
Fatalities CPS 6.4, Parents 1.5

Imagine that, 6.4 children die at the hands of the very agencies that
are supposed to protect them and only 1.5 at the hands of parents per
100,000 children. CPS perpetrates more abuse, neglect, and sexual abuse
and kills more children then parents in the United States. If the
citizens of this country hold CPS to the same standards that they hold
parents too. No judge should ever put another child in the hands of ANY
government agency because CPS nationwide is guilty of more harm and
death than any human being combined. CPS nationwide is guilty of more
human rights violations and deaths of children then the homes from which
they were removed. When are the judges going to wake up and see that
they are sending children to their death and a life of abuse when
children are removed from safe homes based on the mere opinion of a
bunch of social workers.

Kane, caseworkers were not refused entry.
They never even went there.

That implies that if he did offer them entry they would not be
interested.

You do know, don't you fx, that if a worker comes to the door and
knocks, unless there are exigent circumstances and attempt to enter
without permission would result in a civil rights violation?

Now I ask myself, being the suspicious character I am after five or
six years watching you liars at work, and Greg doing his "sue the
*******s" dance for about 7 now, why didn't the home owner...the man
himself (that's why he can't be charged with breaking and entering)
offer to accompany a worker to the site, and let them in?

He could have stopped off first, jimmied his way in, and had a door
open for the worker to walk right in, sit right down....ect....

Funny how people do things to set up others for suit.

Why I could tell you about a friend of mine that just filed intent in
a certain state against a certain person to ensure he could sue
later...well, you wouldn't be interested. Sorry for the diversion.

No it doesn't. They were already looking for this family, stupid.

There was a very messy divorce underway, with grandparent
involvement.
Lots of strange things can happen in such circumstances, bunky.

http://www.newsday.com/entertainment...,1990253.story

And you do not remember the original story, do you, Greg?

http://www.newsday.com/news/local/lo...,7874862.story

Note that there are counter claims by the mother. And the CPS in
another state was to expect, by judges order, the mother to report to
them with the children. NOT the other way around, stupid.

I daresay that local CPS was awaiting their return.

And the father may or may not have actually asked CPS to check the
house. I've seen people make the most outrageous claims against CPS
concerning what CPS did or didn't do. And always there seems to be
money involved.

A suit.

Why is that I wonder Greg?

For what cause? It takes more than just someone saying something
happened, Greg.

And CPS is constantly embroiled in these soap opera divorce claims.
You know that. Greg.

How come suddenly it becomes CPS job to follow up on claims not even
made?

Homes aren't inspected in child sexual abuse cases...THEY WERE NEVER
IN THE HOME, AND OBVIOUSLY HAD NO INTENTION OF BEINGCOMING FURTHER
INVOLVED IN A CIRCLE OF PHONY ALLEGATIONS FROM BOTH PARTIES.

They'd already apparently fielded one such claim.

Go read the original story. fx simply took advantage of your studied
ignorance and lousy memory, Greg.

that workers would investigate within 24 hours. But the child-welfare
workers, the papers say, never went to the home.

The papers he filed. Now he has to prove it. Oh goodness.

Young broke into the
house on Feb. 14 - and found a putrid mess, including bottles of urine.

It is sickening how many children are subject to abuse, neglect and even
killed at the hands of Child Protective Services.

every parent should read this .pdf from
connecticut dcf watch...

http://www.connecticutdcfwatch.com/8x11.pdf

http://www.connecticutdcfwatch.com

Number of Cases per 100,000 children in the US
These numbers come from The National Center on
Child Abuse and Neglect in Washington. (NCCAN)
Recent numbers have increased significantly for CPS

*Perpetrators of Maltreatment*

Physical Abuse CPS 160, Parents 59
Sexual Abuse CPS 112, Parents 13
Neglect CPS 410, Parents 241
Medical Neglect CPS 14 Parents 12
Fatalities CPS 6.4, Parents 1.5

Imagine that, 6.4 children die at the hands of the very agencies that
are supposed to protect them and only 1.5 at the hands of parents per
100,000 children. CPS perpetrates more abuse, neglect, and sexual abuse
and kills more children then parents in the United States. If the
citizens of this country hold CPS to the same standards that they hold
parents too. No judge should ever put another child in the hands of ANY
government agency because CPS nationwide is guilty of more harm and
death than any human being combined. CPS nationwide is guilty of more
human rights violations and deaths of children then the homes from which
they were removed. When are the judges going to wake up and see that
they are sending children to their death and a life of abuse when
children are removed from safe homes based on the mere opinion of a
bunch of social workers.

BE SURE TO FIND OUT WHERE YOUR CANDIDATES STANDS ON THE ISSUE OF
REFORMING OR ABOLISHING CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES ("MAKE YOUR CANDIDATES
TAKE A STAND ON THIS ISSUE.") THEN REMEMBER TO VOTE ACCORDINGLY IF THEY
ARE "FAMILY UNFRIENDLY" IN THE NEXT ELECTION

Basic constitutional rights do at times protect criminals.
This does NOT justify throwing away constitutional rights in general.
If the agency had made some effort, couldn't they have
subpoena'd utility records and obtained further court
subpoenas or a legal search warrant?

Gosh, you sure are talking about a whole lot of expensive legal work
to be done just to FIND OUT if they had a leg to stand on in nothing
more than a search.

Did you think the 4th Amendment to the US Constitution
was a requirement or a mere SUGGESTION Betty?

Anything less should be MUCH more costly than
getting their attorney (on staff) to file for proper
subpoenas or search warrants.

Hey, I don't down constitutional rights.
I'm just looking at the aspect of how more funding for DFS is at issue
in most cases, and yet you, in your infinite wisdom, have expectations
of expensive legal work to find if they even have a case. Pray tell,
who might pay for that? And where might the funds come from to pay
for it? LOL
