Quick test for you all
First of all, Beverly, I would repeal the system, and have all able bodied women who have custody get a damn job!! Secondly, I would concurrently bring the troops home from Iraq saving untold billions of dollars---These savings would provide for women that need help until they could provide for themselves. The current system provides a "Feel Good" Scapegoat (so-called deadbeat dads) for the legislators. How about we return the power back to the families---no that's not perfect either but the system now is no better!! |

Quick test for you all
"Beverly" wrote in I will go on record that I don't agree with the war, but why should my tax dollars pay for a romp I never got to enjoy? The government is way out of control and does not represent the wishes of the people anymore! Like the war, Child support has been sold as a bill of goods that just does not live up to the original intent and has produced more casualties than it's worth. You notice when they talk about the war that they only comment on the the number of dead and not total casualties which is over 60,000 soldiers and countless numbers wth mental disabilities? Yea, we'll go in, defeat Saddam and we'll all be home for Christmas, well $800 Billion later and no closer to solving anything over there. Same as child support, they claim Victory when they state the amount of petty cash they have collected from poor people that canot afford their rates, but they don't speak of the misery they have forced on the working poor with no real money, and they want to say they are doing a good job by taking half of the little money theses people had! |
