Now getting worried- pain
I posted earlier today about pelvic pain (lower left side)...it was sort of
nagging/annoying. I am getting more worried because now it is really starting to hurt more. I am not experiencing any bleeding. I am going to call the dr tomorrow (I would now, but my only option will be go to the ER...whereas tomorrow I could see my doctor). Should I be worried? I can't imagine what is causing it. It is not a sharp stabbing pain..it is more like a toothache- starts out dull and hurts worse, kind of like squeezing slowly. If I put my finger on my belly button and move about 3-4 inches to the left and then move it down to about where it is ;evel with my hip bone, that is where it hurts and only on the left side. This does not feel like the normal growing pains of pregnancy. Another way to describe where it hurts would be to say when I sit, it's on the left side right where I "bend". Can something be wrong, that would cause pain but not bleeding? BTW- I have not been very active OR inactive...I can't think of anything I have done that could have strained something or caused this. It feels like where my endometriosis used to hurt me. |

Now getting worried- pain

What you describe does sound like stretching ligaments, but please do see a doctor if you need reassurance. I can only tell you that it sounds very much to the growing pains I had during my pregnancy, particularly during the first and early second trimester. In my recollection, everything that was clearly one-sided was never worth worrying over. But that's just me, YMMV! -- -- I mommy to DS (16m) guardian of DH (32) TTC #2 War doesn't decide who's right, only who's left |

Now getting worried- pain
I had a very similar pain to what you describe - also on the left side in my
first trimester. It felt worse if I was standing up or walking but better (although not gone) when I was sitting. I was told it was either constipation or more likely the uterus stretching. Either way I was told it was nothing serious to worry about. Hope this helps. "Jill" wrote in message m...
