Default Attn Janet Onopa: 'In the direction of the vulvar opening': babies make their ascent (also: Ginkgo may reduce Acute Mountain Sickness)

Janet Onopa, MD, you're off my list. Since your fellow MDs are senselessly
harming (sometimes killing) babies, I hope you will read my Open Letter to
you below.

USENET READERS: Upon receiving Janet Onopa's complaint I "googled" her name
and found that she recently helped to demonstrate that GINKGO may make
high-altitude ascents easier - see the postscript.

If you ever have to make a high altitude ascent - on a vacation for
example - you might take some Ginkgo - but ask your doctor...

Speaking of ascents...

BABIES MAKE THEIR ASCENTS "in the direction of the vulvar opening" [Williams
Obstetrics 2001:305]

Most babies' ascents (up and out the vagina) are senselessly steep - and
worse - senselessly COMPRESSED - by BONES - because MDs are placing mothers
on their butts/backs to deliver.

MDs are CLOSING birth canals up to 30%...

PREGNANT WOMEN: You can allow your birth canal to OPEN the "extra" up to
30% - just roll onto your side - or use kneeling or hands-and-knees or stand
or squat - ANYTHING but semisitting or dorsal.

WARNINGS:

1. Most MD-obstetricians close the birth canal up to 30%^^^ even as they
acknowledge that closing the birth canal FAR LESS can kill.

2. Some MD-obstetricians will let you "try" "alternative" delivery positions
BUT they will move you back to dorsal or semisitting (close your birth canal
up to 30%!) for the actual delivery!

^^^NOTE: If the pubic arch is narrow, semisitting and dorsal likely close
the birth canal MORE than 30% in some women.

According to Williams
Obstetrics [2001]:

"...With increasing narrowing
of the pubic arch, the occiput cannot emerge directly beneath the symphysis
pubis but is forced increasingly farther down...the ischiopubic rami. In
extreme cases, the head must rotate around a line joining the ischial
tuberosities [!] (p. 438)..."

JANET ONOPA, MD wrote to me...

"Please stop sending me ranting emails. Take me off your list."

OPEN LETTER (instantly archived for global access:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/2257)

Janet Onopa, MD

Hi Janet,

THANKS for acknowledging receipt of my "ranting email." (!)

You're off my list.

The SUBJECT of my "ranting email" was mass MD-inflicted child abuse...

Assuming "my" biomechanics are correct (Williams Obstetrics *published* "my"
biomechanics at my request)...

You are silently colluding with obvious MD child abusers called
obstetricians.

Your silence is quite understandable - you are an MD.

Just remember though, under many (all?) state child abuse laws, silent
collusion with child abusers (failure to report them) is itself a crime.

KEY POINT: Failure of MD-funded attorney generals to investigate or
prosecute mass MD-inflicted child abuse does NOT mean mass MD-inflicted
child abuse isn't occurring.

Janet, if you simply did not read my "ranting email," please do so now - and
take action.

I am sure that at some level you agree with me: Mass MD-inflicted child
abuse should end immediately - just like all other child abuse...

You will receive no more emails from me...

Again, thanks for acknowledging receipt.

Sincerely,

Todd

Dr. Gastaldo

PS Upon receiving your complaint about my "ranting email," I googled your
name and found your ginkgo/acute mountain sickness/AMS study...

"...[T]he first study to demonstrate that 1 day of pretreatment with ginkgo
60 mg TID may significantly reduce the severity of AMS prior to rapid ascent
from sea level to 4205 m."
[Gertsch, Jeffrey H., Todd B. Seto, Joanne Mor, and Janet Onopa. Ginkgo
biloba for the preventionof severe acute mountain sickness (AMS) starting
one day before rapid ascent. High Alt Med Biol3:29-37, 2002]
http://jerrycott.com/user/ginkgo&mountainsickness.pdf

I note that participants in your study had to suffer HEADACHE upon ascent
for AMS to be diagnosed.

I know it sounds implausible but... Did you notice any study participants
having their heads compressed on their ascent?

I ask because - as incredible as it may sound - when women deliver on their
backs/butts, their babies undertake a small ascent (up the pelvic axis and
out) - but not before having their heads senselessly compressed - because
MD-obstetricians stupidly have their mothers on their backs/butts...

Many of these babies are likely suffering HEADACHES - just like people
suffering AMS. (An estimated 4.6% of "healthy" term babies suffer
unexplained BRAIN BLEEDS as MDs senselessly close birth canals.)

Janet Onopa, MD, I hope I have finally peaked your interest in helping to
stop the mass obstetric crime...

If I HAVE...

PLEASE... See again my "ranting email": Criminal medical CAM at Hawai'i's
John A Burns School of Medicine

Work to stop the mass obstetric crime.

****As noted above, this Open Letter to Janet Onopa, MD will be instantly
archived for global access:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/2257

Within 24 hours it will be in the Google archive. Search

Sickness?)"
