Catherine,

I hope your babies learned faster than ours .. It took over a year for them
to sleep a full night ...
and when they finally have done it .. I am having lots of problems with
allergies
so no sleep on this side ...

Greetings,

Mirethy

Hi Scott!

Congratulations on the birth of your baby girls! I am the mom of g/b twins who
were born 5 weeks early. Both of my kids are doing really well as they are
approaching their 3rd birthday. Things were really tough in the beginning.
Both were in NICU and two different hospitals to boot. Nothing could have
prepared me for the harsh reality of that whole siituation. Life was crazy for
us back then, but every 3 months that passed seemed to makes things a touch
better. Now it seems so much easier for us then it is for friends of ours who
have children of varrying ages.

I hope you find support and friendship in this group. It is an excellent
source for info reguarding all things twin.

Hello Scott

Nice to see another UK poster! Our b/g twins were born last October (8
months old today!) 5 weeks early and life has been hectic since!

Welcome to the group

Hi all,
My wife and I moved to England 2 1/2 years ago and thought ... wouldn't it
be nice to have A kid while we're here?. We ended up having twin girls 10
weeks too early. This was a really traumatic time for us. And, it was
compounded by the fact that we were thousands of miles away from our

family.

The good news is that even though the hospital wasn't as spotless or as

well
appointed as we were accustomed to in California, the care was superb.

And,
all of the care givers there have become our extended family.

We are finding life really difficult with 2 babies. And, some days are
better than others. As well as multiple birth parents, I hope to be able

to
share with other parents of premature twins experiences that must be

common
to us all.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Scott C.
