31 Week Update

Well my wife had her appt yesterday. Her BD was 120/80 and she gained 1.5
lbs in 4 weeks. She is up to 151.5 lbs. The heart beat was nice and strong.
The Doctor changed the baby weight for birth from 7 lbs to 9 lbs. He said
that he changed it do to the height from her pelvis bone to top of the
uterus went from 29 cm to 37 cm. He is still thinking maybe Dec 1st as due
date. But we do not think that she will last that long. She is have BH on
/ off over the entire days the last few days. Baby is head down and sitting
on her pelvic bone. Not much longer until the baby engages we think. The
doctor thinks that she will give birth in Nov sometime. Wow the time is
moving fast..

Mark, I just want to give you an anecdote about fundal height.

I had a previous twin pregnancy. With this pregnancy my fundal height
measures anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks AHEAD of where I am because my body
remembered being pg with the twins. I know EXACTLY when this baby was
conceived because it was a Frozen Embryo Transfer.

Having a larger fundal height doesn't necessarily translate into a
bigger baby. Even ultrasounds are off on the weights. I just don't
want you dw to start getting worried about the size of the baby. :-)
