Thank you, Brigitte!

William had a wonderful birthday. We had his party yesterday, actually. There
were over 30 people there for pizza and cake. His favorite present was a
bubble mower. He has been mowing all day. We also got him a stove and some
cookware and he has been having a lot of fun with that. And I used some of his
birthday money to buy him a baby laptop (at his request--I am not big on
electronic toys). We picked up a Little Tikes playhouse for him dirt cheap at
a garage sale this weekend and he likes to take his laptop outside, sit at the
table in the house, and "work." We have to drag him away when it's time to
leave. The other two things he asked for and received were an umbrella and a
broom. :-)

Thank you, Sara! I always think of you and Laura at this time of year, for
obvious reasons!

This has been a wonderful three years. We still are having so much fun with
William. He truly is the light of our lives. And he still loves "ba."

Sounds like a great day! I can't believe its been three years since I
turned to my husband and said "See, people can have humongous babies
naturally." (At some four odd months pregnant with our first baby we
were in the midst of all of the natural childbirth conversations :-)
