She's posted that recently and many times before. Are you simply
harassing?

Harassing, I suspect.

Or are you pushing a political agenda?

Everyone "pushes" and agenda, and we can call it political if it
impacts society. As a teacher of teachers it would be hard to NOT be
influencing teachers along an "agenda" of how to teach. A very
political act indeed, when you consider it impacts nearly every member
of society before they are adults.

I WANT her to have a political agenda, as a teacher of teachers. It
needs to be about drawing the best from them to learn to draw the best
from children. And a safe environment is the most conducive to learning.

This, however, is not a political agenda. This is teaching best
practices that is solidly grounded in research. And research clearly
demonstrates what you say in your above paragraph.

A university Med School recently got in
some hot water here for pushing liberal politics
and applying that as a bias in rating students.

Does LaVonne look like a med school?

Who knows? No one has ever seen me (grin)!

Do you have a Doctorate, LaVonne?

She has posted many times that she has. You just harassing again?

Of course I have a doctorate, and I have posted this many times. I'd
vote for "harassing again."

Do YOU have a doctorate? In BA or BS or a Masters?

What about it opinions -- can you answer this question?

Do YOU have an agenda she would need to be concerned about?

I'm concerned about hitting and hurting children in the name or
discipline and in the name of teaching. Do you think opinions may have
this political agenda?

Is it reflected in these questions and barely veiled threats?
"Are you next?" indeed. How blatantly threating can you be?

Oh, I've lived through threats far more blatant that observer's (grin)!

Actually it was greegor, but lil 'o' seems cut from the same cloth.

He practices projection -- advance one's political view with no
substantive research, and then accuse everyone else of his behavior.

Which would make him about par for the spanking compulsives here.

Default Who crappy professors push pet agendas

Carlson LaVonne wrote:
What professor do you know that does subjective grading, and allows the
students to determine their grade?

If you are referring to me, this is so absurd.

I believe you made a reference to students having the capacity to effect
their own grades. He likes to take "expressions" and manipulate them.

In fact I've noticed that same tendency in liars...like doan and greegor.

Research based teaching?
Whose research?
The tobacco lobby?
Strauss?
Fundy religious research?
Research done by "Moon Unit" at Berkeley?

Is all of the research you teach based on
research that has been PEER REVIEWED?

My guess is that LaVonne wouldn't even bother to mention it if it wasn't.

You seem to overlook her telling you she teachers from vetted curriculum
from the University.

Your stupid references above demonstrate you do not remember OR
understand what you read.

Are you now claiming that we should shut down our universities and let
YOU start up a teaching college?

What would you teach, how to do appropriate paddling?

if you've spent any time in the classroom, you know damn well that
biased subjective grading is almost impossible to prove before a
grievance board and blaming failure on the student is the oldest trick
in the book................

What would the length of time have to do with the quality of instruction?

I mean, they took you, after all.

Or were you just sitting in?

And why didn't you stay?

Did you earn a Bachelor's, a Master's? What?

Or did they decide you probably wouldn't be qualified to be a school
janitor?

What with your child hatred agenda?
