Default Can I get my supply back up?

I am so sad that I got my period today. This is 3.5 months after birth and
I have been breastfeeding, but also supplementing with a bottle. I just had
a virus and also have been seeing the dentist for my terrible teeth so I
have stopped BF for a bit. Now my supplys is way down. Although I did
pump, I admit I was a bit tired at times and skipped BFing and as a result,
my supply is way down.

WHen I nurse him, I get the first let down and that seems to be it.

Can the supply get back up if I work at it?

Sure. Best advice is to take the baby, a large glass of water, and a book
and hole up in bed or a cozy rocking chair for a couple of days. Don't give
any supplemental bottles until you've re-established your supply.

All opinions expressed in this post are well-reasoned and insightful.
Needless to say, they are not those of my Internet Service Provider, its

fight. -- with apologies to Michael Feldman

Switch nursing builds the supply back up. After the first let down,
switch sides for another let down, and then switch again, etc. It
keeps the milk flowing better.
