*Organized medicine*

Just like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, there is no such thing as
organized medicine. If medicine were truly organized, it would prohibit
the publication of studies which show that a basic tool of the
profession is flawed. Obviously, since you read this article, you now
know that this is not the case. I note that alties rarely critique other
alties, even when their products actually conflict in underLYING
philosophy.

No one in their right mind would call U.S. medicine organized. Maybe
Canadian medicine is.

Evidently, you aren't in your right mind.

Been in the bush too long.

Jan, I am shocked! You have claimed that it is always wrong to belittle
and here you are belittling George.

As for the time George has been in the bush...

BWHAHAHAHAHAHA!

(Inside joke for asad regulars-do not tell Jan).

The AMA, FDA, NCI., ACS are all in the US.

Jan does like to promote the neo-Fascist Curezone where dissent is not
allowed and those who question the script and given the boot. The only
"cure" is killing the truth.

Lollipop points out that ...

Thats nice

The CMA, CSA, NRC, APA, Fraser Institute and DEW Line are all in
Canada.

Actually what I pointed out, was the anwered to your absurd remark.

No one in their right mind would call U.S. medicine organized.

The AMA, FDA, NCI., ACS are all in the US.

I'm really not interested in Canada.

Aren't you being slightly over-selective and self-serving in your
interests?

It seems that she is quite confused. Perhaps she can explain how the
AMA, FDA, NCI. and ACS deliver health care, but I don't think so. The
Canadian govt. provides for the organized delivery of medical
services. Yes, you may have to wait for a long time for certain
procedures but you don't have to worry about going bankrupt over a
hospital bill when your insurance refuses to pay.

Thanks, RL, this investigation supports my statement which was made
only partly in jest. The kicker in the article was:

"U.S. patients also stood out for shouldering more medical expenses
than those in the other countries. More than half said they did not
take their medicines or see a doctor because of costs."

"In the United Kingdom, where health care is subsidized by the
government,13 percent of patients polled said they went without care".

Ironically the high expense of care to the patient in the US causes
patients to fail to take prescriptions and get follow up. This which
increases the rate of complications and thus increases the total cost
of care.
