Being the dedicated scrapbooker I am, you'd think I'd have covered this
ground long ago, but I haven't. Part of the problem is that I haven't really
any good photos of DS nursing. I'm just wondering if anyone has done
scrapbook pages about their nursing relationship and if so, what sorts of
layouts did you use?

I am scrapbooking Aden's entire first year and oddly enough I don't have any
pictures of me nursing Aden.
.....hmmmm I guess I should get one. I think I would write something like
"momma's milk helps me grow big" or something along those lines and surround
the picture with cut outs of his hand prints ... because what I will
remember most is his little hands playing with my hair, my face, my boobs,
my shirts and anything else he could reach while nursing. Today he grabbed
my lower lip and tried to pull it off....
I know I was just surfing on a website that someone had posted here today
that had all kinds of cute nursing phrases they put on t-shirts, key chains
ect and I can't find it, driving me nuts. Maybe they could repost, has lots
of good ideas.

You've just inspired me to get another shot of DD nursing. I'm also
planning to get another one on her first birthday next month ... so I can
have a matching set ... the only one I have so far is the one my DH took
when DD latched on right after her birth, so I think it would be cool to do
a series of bf photos at age 0, 1, 2, 3, ..... maybe more....

My SIL is a keen scrapbooker (when I read scrapper in the title it gave me a
laugh ... to me a "scrapper" is someone who likes to fight ... so you can
imagine the mental pic I have or a "nursing scrapper" She has a page in
each of her DD's books with bf pics and statements like ... "Still growing
strong on Mummy Milk at 16 mo" and "Mummy's Milk is Yummy Milk" ...

I totally relate -- and I do have two nursing scrappers. My girls often
scrap when tandem nursing these days, and we have to separate them.
Typically, the less fussy one gets the breast, the more vigorous
scrapper gets daddy's arms ;-)
--Barbara, who has a very few digital photos of BFing, and doesn't have
time for scrapbooking ATM!
