Default Leaky breasts in pregnancy

Everything I've read says it's normal to leak in the last month of
pregnancy, but how normal is it *not* to leak?

Did you leak? and if not, any association with when/how well your milk
came in?

I leaked ~week 22-25, but nothing since then (now at 38w)

I'd say pretty normal.

Nope. Never leaked either of the three times and milk came in around the
third day.

Hello,
Hardly leaked at all.
Milk came in on day 3 pp and didn't stop until 3.5 years later!
I don't think there is much correlation between leaking and milk
production (unless of course you are unable to produce any milk at
all), unlike the correlation between supply and demand.

I imagine leaking and success at BF is about as correlated as breast
size and success at BF ie none or very little.

Don't worry, you will more than likely have plenty of milk to nurse
your baby.

I never leaked during pregnancy, not a drop. My milk came in 3 days pp, and
I leaked gallons then! Never had any supply issues.

Same for all 3 children!

I did not leak during any of my three pregnancies and my milk came in fine
each time.

Thanks to all for the comments. I think I'm at that stage where I'm
starting to worry about all the little things

Nope. Never leaked in pregnancy. I could squeeze out a couple drops of
colostrum
in the last 4-6 weeks.
I've never had a problem with supply or letdown. My milk has come in
anywhere from 4-5 days (first couple children) to 3 days (last 3 or 4).
I don't really leak when nursing either. I may leak out of the opposite
breast when baby is nursing if the unused breast is very full.
Leaking is not a given with breastfeeding, just one of those normal
possibilities!

Never leaked at all and didn't even manage to express anything (although
the latter means nothing - I didn't know what I was doing and had the
technique wrong, so for all I know I might have been able to express
colostrum in pregnancy if I'd done it properly). The milk turned up on
schedule.

All the best,

Sarah

very very normal, I occasionally got a drop in my first pregnancy, but it
was more by looking for it than it leaking. 2nd time I still didn't leak,
but I could express a lot more if I tried.

I got more milk 2nd time, but then that is also fairly normal, though the
bigger factor would probably have been a baby that was much better at
breastfeeding and no artificial nipples.

I started leaking at about 20w in both pregnancies, and had either oversupply
or overactive letdown for at least the first year of BFing. As a matter of
fact I think I just let down really, really easily.
