Daddy to Be Christmas Presents

Hi everybody!

This is our first baby, and I was thinking of getting something for DH
that is for the Daddy to Be. I thought there would be desk calendars or
books or SOMETHING targeted at new daddies, but everything seems to be
geared toward the mommies. I haven't seen anything suitable out there
yet. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi KD -

Well it depends on if you want something sentimental or if you want
something practical - sentimental I would get a frame and if you have
an ultrasound pic put that in it, later he can put a photo of the baby
and take it to work etc...sentimental really depends on what kind of
guy he is. A framed photo of baby pretty much works for all types.

Practical: there are also some books out there for new daddys - go to
amazon.com and type in "new dad" and "new father" you'll find some
books and tshirts for the new dad - a cute one if he's a real guy type
is "The Baby Owner's Manual: Operating Instructions, Trouble-Shooting
Tips, and Advice on First-Year Maintenance" - its a baby care book
written like a car manual

You can also get him a diaper bag that's more man friendly (ie., black,
and doesn't look like a diaper bag)

Also, I've never ordered from this company/website, but they have some
new dad gifts that might give you some ideas.

Thanks for the reply! I might do the ultrasound pic, will have to check
that out. No baby pic for the frame yet, as baby arrives in March.

I was just out to WalMart, and did find him some Superdad underwear!

The thing I got and I enjoyed was a T-shirt (cause we guys like
T-shirts) that said "World's Greatest Dad" on it.
