Default Pregnant chiro patients: BIZARRE chiro legislation - babies be damned...

PREGNANT WOMEN... MDs are closing birth canals up to 30% and it's EASY to
allow your birth canal to OPEN the "extra" up to 30%. See below...

Please email this to your chiropractor.

Attention CHIROS... Please help STOP MDs from closing birth canals and
gruesomely manipulating most babies' spines at birth.

I'd like to see some ACA/ICA/WCA/FSCO chiro unity on this issue BEFORE the
Sept. 16, 2003 ACA House of Delegates meeting in Albuquerque...

See CHIROPRACTIC EMERGENCY below...

BIZARRE chiropractic legislative activity...

Terry Rondberg, DC said in a recent mass (e)mailing:

"HR 2560 [Manzullo (R-Ill)] would solve a longstanding problem...The
criteria for chiropractic
care would be objective indicators of [vertebral] subluxation."

OPEN LETTER (archived for global access***)

Terry Rondberg, DC
President
World Chiropractic Alliance/WCA

Terry,

To my knowledge there is no scientific evidence that vertebral subluxations
exist and cause disease and stop causing disease when adjusted.

Indeed, Edward Owens, MS, DC indicated in 2002 (see PS2 below) that
vertebral subluxation has not even been operationally defined let alone
related to an external measure of health or function.

If Owens is correct, passing yet *another* federal law which fraudulently
indicates that scientific evidence for vertebral subluxations already exists
just PERPETUATES this longstanding x-ray/subluxation fraud.

Instead of perpetuating the longstanding x-ray/subluxation fraud - the
chiropractic profession should be asking who got Congress to mandate
radiation of all Medicare chiropractic patients in the first place - OVER
THE OBJECTIONS OF CHIROPRACTORS...

See EXCLUSION DAY VACCINATION FRAUD - will Rep. Donald Manzullo (R-Ill) help
expose it?
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/chiro-list/message/2119

CHIROPRACTIC EMERGENCY...

Terry, until vertebral subluxation is operationally defined in terms of an
external measure of health or function...

Why not focus WCA's efforts on diagnosing NON-SPINAL MD subluxations (lies)
and stopping MDs from closing birth canals
and gruesomely manipulating most babies' spines?

If vertebral subluxations *do* exist and cause disease, etc. (I believe
they do - in spite of lack of evidence)...

Then stopping MDs from closing birth canals will PREVENT more vertebral
subluxations than DCs will ever be able to charge to adjust by hand.

I've repeatedly called this to your attention Terry - to no avail - babies
be damned.

I hope WCA breaks its silence regarding this obvious chiropractic emergency.

I'll copy ACA Chairman James Edwards, DC ) who
has also been silent - babies be damned...

Again, I'd like to see some ACA/ICA/WCA/FSCO chiro unity on this issue
BEFORE the Sept. 16, 2003 ACA House of Delegates meeting in Albuquerque...

Todd

Dr. Gastaldo

PS1 Edward Owens, MS, DC wrote: "...Progress is being made on several
fronts toward operationally defining subluxation...[S]everal tests appear to
measure what they claim to measure, but the meaning of the findings, in
terms of an external measure of health or function is mostly unknown." [J
Can Chiropr Assoc 2002; 46(4); Portions of this commentary were originally
published in the Journal of the American Chiropractic Association (JACA
2002; Sept: 20-24).]
http://www.ccachiro.org/client/cca/J...6?OpenDocument

Terry, maybe Edward Owens is NOT correct? I would LOVE to see scientific
evidence that vertebral subluxations
exist and cause disease, etc. If such evidence has been generated, please
post it to the usenet - or send it to me and I will post it to the usenet.

PS2 I think that even WITHOUT evidence that vertebral subluxations exist
and cause disease, etc. - the American people and their representatives
would LOVE
to support federal legislation that (finally) reimburses chiropractors for
their Medicare physical exams, necessary x-rays, histories and spinal
adjusting - and any other treatment chiropractors in the various states may
legally render with NO requirement that
vertebral subluxations be objectively demonstrated.

REGARDLESS whether Americans would support such legislation...

CHIROPRACTIC EMERGENCY!

MDs are closing birth canals and gruesomely (sometimes fatally) manipulating
most babies' spines.

The chiropractic profesion should immediately begin persistently/explicitly
informing PREGNANT Americans (and their families)...

I say yet again: I'd like to see some ACA/ICA/WCA/FSCO chiro unity on this
issue BEFORE the Sept. 16, 2003 ACA House of Delegates meeting in
Albuquerque...

Copied (again) to the ACA Council on Chiropractic Orthopedics members listed
below...

"Chiropractic Education...include[s]...OBSTETRICS..."
--American Chiropractic Association/ACA Chairman James Edwards, DC and
Cynthia Vaughn, DC
http://www.jamesedwards.com/educate.htm (emphasis added)

"Obstetrics is the art of midwifery...If the accoucheur is a Chiropractor,
he can adjust...thereby preventing disease."
--Dr. DD Palmer, Founder of Chiropractic [1910:789]

Chiropractic physicians don't need to attend births again - don't need to
practice
obstetrics or midwifery - to adjust to prevent
disease!

CHIROPRACTIC PHYSICIANS CLOSEST IN PHILOSOPHY TO MIDWIVES...

Marsden Wagner, MD^^^ once said:

"Chiropractic physicians are conceivably
closest in philosophy to the midwives due to their training in the non-use
of drugs...If a nurse or [medical] physician desires
to practice midwifery, then it is necessary for each to [undergo one year or
more of training] to literally 'unlearn' the pathological vision to get the
proper perspective of normality."

^^^Marsden Wagner, MD served for 15 years as the director of women's and
children's health for the World Health Organization. The quote above
appeared in Wagner's amicus brief in the Peckman midwifery case and was
published in NAPSAC News Spring 1991 by the InterNational Association of
Parents and Professionals for Safe Alternatives in Childbirth, Rt. 1, Box
646, Marble Hill, MO 63764 USA.

Again, chiropractic physicians don't need to attend births again - don't
need to
practice
obstetrics or midwifery - to adjust to prevent
disease!

ACA and BIRTH TRAUMA...

The American Chiropractic Association/ACA says that: 1) "[t]he chiropractic
profession recognizes that...birth trauma, may
be [a] common primary cause...of illness in children" and 2) that birth
trauma-caused illness "can have a
direct and significant impact on not only spinal biomechanics, but on other
bodily functions.....Ratified by the House of Delegates, July 1994."
http://www.amerchiro.org/about/policies.shtml

One of the stated Objectives of ACA's Council on Chiropractic
Orthopedics is:

"Shar[ing] knowledge with all doctors of chiropractic for the benefit of the
public and the
profession..."
http://www.ccodc.org/council.htm

Hopefully, the following ACA Council on Chiropractic Orthopedics officers
will urge ACA to immediately forward broadcast this email to ALL DCs for
whom ACA has email addresses.

One of the stated Objectives of ACA's Council on Chiropractic
Orthopedics is:

"Shar[ing] knowledge with all doctors of chiropractic for the benefit of the
public and the
profession..."
http://www.ccodc.org/council.htm

The ACA Council on Chiropractic Orthopedics SHOULD be busting massive MD
spinal
manipulation quackery.

See again: 'My God, [chiropractic] is organized crime' (Quackbuster Barrett)
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/chiro-list/message/2129

And see: Who ya gonna call? (The term 'quackbuster' - are quackbusters
abandoning it?)
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/chiro-list/message/2130

Harold Tondera, DC: Do you think ACA is so mired in politics that ACA can't
be moved to help protect the tiniest chiropractic patients from gruesome MD
spinal manipulators?

PS3 HOW TO STOP BACK PAIN DURING BIRTH (ODENT)

"There will be a high probability that she will find herself on her hands
and knees...The first immediate effect will be to alleviate the pain,
particularly if it
is back pain."
--Michel Odent, MD [The Farmer and the Obstetrician. London: Free
Association Books. 2002:106]

Getting the woman off her sacrum not only stops back pain, it SHORTENS LABOR
thereby preventing a significant amount of LABOR pain in general (with or
without back pain)...

PS4 BIRTH TRAUMA...MASS VAGINA SLASHING...

MDs are slashing vaginas en masse (euphemism "routine episiotomy")
surgically/FRAUDULENTLY inferring they are doing everything possible to OPEN
birth canals - even as they CLOSE birth canals - up to 30%.

Michael C. Klein, MD writes: "I think it is important to recognize that
episiotomy is a deliberate second degree tear." [Birth. Letter.
2002;29(1):74]

Klein also indicates routine deliberate vagina tearing is UNNECESSARY in
most cases...

NOTE: MDs blame "childbirth" for their mass vagina slashing behavior, as
in,

"The most common diagnosis for hospitalization among all women is trauma to
perineum due to childbirth."
http://www.ahcpr.gov/data/hcup/factbk3/factbk3.htm

Senselessly closing birth canals and slashing vaginas is MEDICAL birth - not
childbirth...

PS5 MORE BIRTH TRAUMA...

VACUUM ASSISTED SPINAL MANIPULATION BY MDs...

UP TO SIX BABIES PER DAY *DIE* FROM VACUUM-ASSISTED SPINAL MANIPULATION BY
MDs!

USUAL MECHANISM...

1. MD (or MB) closes birth canal up to 30% thereby 1) PHYSICALLY inhibiting
labor (causing the baby to get stuck) and 2) inhibiting labor
NEUROLOGICALLY (sacroiliac joint torqued exactly the opposite direction it
should be torqued thereby irritating somatic afferents thereby
NEUROLOGICALLY inhibiting labor)...

2. MD (or MB) sticks vacuum extractor into vagina and applies suction cup to
baby's skull/scalp.

3. MD (or MB) PULLS - slowly ripping scalp away from baby's skull.

The baby is dragged out the vagina but BLOOD IS ACCUMULATING under the
galeal/epicranial aponeurosis of the baby's
scalp.

When this accumulation of blood is noticeable, it is called subgaleal
hematoma/subaponeurotic hemorrhage...

"Subgaleal haematoma/subaponeurotic haemorrhage...can almost exsanguinate
the infant."
--Kathrin W. Dahl, MD et al. [Ugeskr Laeger. 2002 Nov 18;164(47):5525-6.
PubMed abstract]

"Bleeding into the subaponeurotic space can cross the suture lines and
occupy the entire subaponeurotic space. It has been estimated that when this
space is filled to a depth of one centimetre it can hold as much as 260 mls
of blood - approximately the total blood volume of a 3 kg neonate..."
----Calum Macleod, MD (with O'Neill) [Ir Med J. 2003 May;96(5):147-8. See
also: http://www.imj.ie/news_detail.php?nN...60&nVolId=102]

"Neonatal subgaleal hematomas (SGHs) are infrequent but underdiagnosed
collections of blood beneath the galea [scalp], often caused by vacuum
delivery. With massive bleeding into the subgaleal space, exsanguination and
hypovolemic shock can cause death in 20 to 60% of newborn infants."
--Arun P. Amar, MD et al.^^^ [Neurosurgery. 2003 Jun;52(6):1470-4;
discussion 1474. PubMed abstract]

60% mortality?!

Here's a 23% mortality figure recently reported...

"In the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland 10% of all deliveries are
vacuum assisted...6.4 per 1000 [of these result in subgaleal
haematoma/subaponeurotic haemorrhage]...mortality...23%."
--Calum Macleod, MD (with O'Neill) [Ir Med J. 2003 May;96(5):147-8. PubMed
abstract. See also:
http://www.imj.ie/news_detail.php?nN...60&nVolId=102]

VACUUM-ASSISTED SPINAL MANIPULATION DEATHS IN THE UNITED STATES...

Check my math...

In 2002, there were 4,019,280 births in the United States...
http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/releases/03news/lowbirth.htm

1. Assume US vacuum delivery rate 5% (half that in the United Kingdom and
Republic of Ireland) = (roughly) 200,000 vacuum deliveries per year

2. Assume same subgaleal haematoma/subaponeurotic haemorrhage rate 6.4%...
6.4% of 200,000 = (roughly) 12,000 subgaleal haematomas/subaponeurotic
haemorrhages per year

3. Assume same (23%) mortality from subgaleal haematoma/subaponeurotic
haemorrhage...

23% of 12,000 = (roughly) 2,400 deaths from vacuum delivery per year!

**MORE** THAN 2,000 AMERICAN BABIES ARE VACUUMED TO DEATH BY MDs ANNUALLY!
(This is a
*conservative* estimate based on the three assumptions above.)

WARNING: Macleod and O'Neill write: "Given the low rates of neonatal
autopsy and the relatively high
rates of vacuum assisted delivery the real extent of vacuum associated
morbidity and mortality may be much higher than realised. When the federal
authorities in the United States and Canada issued public health advisories
for vacuum assisted delivery a 22-fold increase in notification of adverse
outcomes was observed...Subaponeurotic haemorrhage is difficult to diagnose
as clinical signs may be minimal or absent."
--Calum Macleod, MD (with O'Neill) [Ir Med J. 2003 May;96(5):147-8. See
also: http://www.imj.ie/news_detail.php?nN...660&nVolId=102

NOTE: It is likely that US and Canadian "public health advisories for
vacuum assisted delivery" mentioned by Macleod do not warn MD-obstetricians
not to place women on their backs/butts at delivery. If so, this oversight
should be corrected immediately.

PREGNANT WOMEN! It's EASY to open your birth canal the "extra" up to
30%!

Just roll onto your side as you push your baby out! PLEASE talk to your MD
about this NOW...

WARNING
WARNING
WARNING
WARNING: Some MDs will let women "try" side-lying and
other
"alternative" delivery positions - but they will move women back to
semisitting -
close their birth canals (!) at
the very worst possible moment (as the baby is coming out)...

See GASTALDO'S ABSTRACT - my invited poster presentation at a recent
obstetric congress co-sponsored by the American College of Obstetricians and
Gynecologists/ACOG. (NOTE: GASTALDO'S ABSTRACT is on the web: Search
"GASTALDO'S ABSTRACT
Paciornik"...)

As always, I am in favor of pardons in advance for MDs. MDs are just
academic prime cuts forced through this culture's most powerful mental
meatgrinder - medical school. Same goes for MBs...

Thanks for reading, everyone,

Sincerely,

Todd
