Hmmm. I think the word "should" imply a lot more to some people
than others. I was not trying to imply someone should stand over
them with a ruler, saying "OK, now it's time to have sex." It
was more like it would be a good idea. :-)

I've only charted it for 3 months. I've never bothered to mark it on
calendars, as my body tells me when it's coming. I've always thought I was
as regular as clockwork, but no.

First was 28, second--29, this time--27 days. According to the sticks, I
ovulated 19 days after the first day of my last period, and only 8 days
*before* the first day of my current period.

Well, to me the word 'should' carries real connotations of 'this is the
way you ought to do things', and there is a pressure there. I guess
YMV.

BTW, I always heard it _wasn't_ a good idea even from the fertility POV
to have sex too often during the fertile time, as it just exhausts the
sperm supply - aren't you supposed to leave it a day between times to
recharge?
