Default Fertility boosting suggestions?

Okay, so we are not exactly TTC, but we've stopped NOT trying. We
just thought we'd just try seeing what happens for a while. We've
never had to "try" before!

Anyway, it's been three months so far. I'm 40, so I don't want to
wait too much longer for #6. My feeling is that if it doesn't happen
within the next year or so, maybe it's not meant to be. #5 is almost
3.

So I was just wondering if there is anything low-key y'all would
suggest to boost fertility? Herbs or vitamins, perhaps? If nothing
happens this month, maybe I will actually chart, etc. and make an
effort to time things.

It's only been 3 months!

I suspect actively trying would be more helpful than anything that might
give a slight boost. Have you read the book Taking Charge of Your
Fertility? To be honest, I haven't read it, though the things people
have mentioned from it on here over the years are very helpful, I guess
at 40, I'd be reading it myself rather than relying on 2nd hand knowledge!

Cheers

Congrats on trying (well, sort of trying...LOL!)! I'm hoping to be
trying here myself in the next few months. :-)
