Default First time eating out for Koby

Hi there. I can't beleive Koby is over 6 months old now! We went out to eat,
just the two of us, for the first time today. We went to Olive Garden and Koby
sat in one of their highchairs. What a long way he has come from having to be
cradled in my arms while trying to inhale a meal. I took along some mashed up
bananas and ebm in a sippy cup. These, along with his toy truck and mommy's
napkin, kept him entertained long enough for me to enjoy my meal. I even
ordered dessert.

On another note, I want to say how glad I am that I've had the oppurtunity to
BF my son and NOT have to use bottles. He never really took to them even for
ebm and so about a month ago i decided to start using a sippy cup. He drinks
from this like a pro, and even tries to hold it (not quite coordinated to get
it in his mouth yet). A friend of mine has a daughter who is 13 months old and
she is having a terrible time switching from a bottle to a cup...she is always
telling me how good it is that he drinks from the cup, I won't have to make the
switch. I'm pleased.
