about MSN and usenet
So I took all that great advice from Kate and called MSN tech
support............. well a fat lotta good MSN did me ! It seems MSN does not support nttp servers cause he said " usenet newsgroups are fading and will be a thing of the past soon!" LMAO! Well if that didn't trip my trigger ! So he said he could help me set up outlook with an http or an s something or other that is slipping my widdle mind right now anyway ......and that it would not do me any good with these groups cause they require an nttp server sooooo, I am between a rock and a hard place with my ISP .....soooooo they who I pay can not help me. He did suggest I contact outlook express tech support and even gave me an argh !, TOLL number to call, which I have not as of yet cause I am still getting over the apology I gave this guy for rippin him a new one for not being able to help me set up outlook to participate in Usenet newsgroups, ( as if this poor guy was MR. MSN himself LOL!) So, then I am talking to Mari who says there is a good chance outlook tech support is gonna want to be paid like 35 bucks to help me ! Now I am so very thrilled with this Idea I could just scream " what's that you said?" "I can." "good",,,,,,,,scream...... then she tells me this funny story about her niece who did tech support for some company and this guy who called her for help finding his cd rom thingy ......apparently she said "there should be a button , you push it and the door will open", he says" oh I thought that was my drink holder ? Really happened ! LMAO! My next question is .....Is there anyone out there with MSN for their ISP and using outlook? HELP! Bev (if the news highlights a story soon about the crazy woman who murdered her computer by repeatedly running over it with her 4x4..........that'll be me evilgrin |
