KATE Ceberano and her husband Lee Rogers are the proud parents of a baby
girl. Kate gave birth to Gypsy at 8pm on Tuesday.
The healthy young girl weighed 4.22kg (9lb 5oz) at birth and both mother and
daughter are reported to be doing well.

Ceberano was in Melbourne recording her latest album The Girl Can Help It
when she discovered she was pregnant.

She had been working on the album for more than three years in Los Angeles
but, when she learnt she was expecting, she raced to finish it so she could
promote it before the birth.

As soon as the album was completed, Ceberano hit the road - despite being
pregnant - so she could get through the tour before Gypsy arrived.

Glad they had a healthy baby

Kate Ceberano has been on the music scene here in Australia since the 80s
and she has a wonderfully smooth voice. Her entire family (it seems) are
musicians.
