Interesting question I've never had to research

A father hear in Virginia is charged with contempt.

The father is recently unemployed and the Court has since found him to
be in contempt and given him 30 days to purge (a questionable process
in many states)...anyhow, the court is aware of a line of credit the
father has the ability to access, but if he accesses the line of
credit to purge, he knows he will be unable to pay on the line of
credit.

Has anyone ever researched as to whether a judge can order you to
defraud a "normal" creditor to pay a purge clause when you know you
can't repay the "normal" creditor should you choose to access the
credit to pay the purge clause? Kind of sounds to me like you'd be
guilty of obtaining money under false pretenses.
