Default Texas - Who abused the children?

Who abused the children?

Have we Americans become so afraid and so protective that we are willing
to let government agencies run roughshod over anyone or any group in the
name of security or protecting children?

Have we become so afraid that those who are different from us need to be
chastised or incarcerated? What happened to the American idea of
individualism?

One of the biggest child protective cases in the history of the
government watching over how children are raised occurred in Texas in April.

Based upon an anonymous phone call without verification, the Child
Protective Services Agency of Texas proceeded to take some 450 children
from their parents and distribute them all over the state of Texas. It
did not matter that some siblings were separated, the CPS determined
that the children needed to be out of harm’s way.

Even when the local sheriff had received no complaints; even when he had
weekly communication with the members of the sect without arresting
anyone, the CPS still determined that more than 450 children were at risk.

Consider for a moment that you are living in one of those gated
communities that are supposed to keep away those folks who are different
from us and protect us from all those evil people lurking out there.

Now assume the local sheriff or child protective agency receives a phone
call that your neighbor is molesting his children.

Based on that phone call, the sheriff and the agency come in with the
swat teams, armored vehicles and a cadre of state troopers.

Not only do they come into the gated community, they round up all of the
children and declare that all the children will potentially be abused
and therefore, they need to be taken and put in foster homes.

Those foster homes had an entirely different culture than what the
children know.

What a hue and cry would be heard — but that is exactly what happened to
a group of children and their parents who happened to practice polygamy.

Was the raid on the compound to protect children or to punish
polygamists? Was this a child safety issue or a religious issue? Since
all of this occurred, the courts have finally put a stop to
indiscriminate interference with families. At least the children are
going back to their parents. Even then, there are all sorts of
restrictions on the parents and the group. Without a criminal charge
being filed, the state has reserved the right to enter the family home
anytime between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. without notification. Children cannot
be moved out of state and any movement of the children beyond 100 miles
must be reported to the court.

No one defends child abuse, and many people opposed to the death penalty
would be willing to “pull the lever” on those who have abused children.
That decision would have been made when the legal system had been
properly implemented. We used to be a nation where one is considered
innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Texas and Texans are already seeing a backlash against this arbitrary
abuse of power. At this writing, no abuse has been found, charges that
under aged girls have given birth have been disproved, and no one has
found the “girl” who was being abused. Yet children were torn away from
their mothers, separated from their siblings, put in foster homes where
the culture was entirely alien.

It appears that the abuse took place at the hands of the state agency,
not the parents of the children. At least we can see what the agency
did. We only have the agency’s word about what they thought was
happening. It appears that the agency was more concerned about polygamy
than it was child abuse.

An Inconvenient Truth about Child Protective Services, Foster care, and
the Child Protection "INDUSTRY"

Child Protective Services Does not protect children...
It is sickening how many children are subject to abuse, neglect and even
killed at the hands of CPS.

every parent should read the free handbook from
connecticut dcf watch...

http://www.connecticutdcfwatch.com

Number of Cases per 100,000 children in the US
These numbers come from The National Center on
Child Abuse and Neglect in Washington. (NCCAN)
Recent numbers have increased significantly for CPS

Perpetrators of Maltreatment

Physical Abuse CPS/Foster care 160, biological Parents 59
Sexual Abuse CPS/Foster care 112, biological Parents 13
Neglect CPS/Foster care 410, biological Parents 241
Medical Neglect CPS/Foster care 14 biological Parents 12
Fatalities CPS/Foster care 6.4, biological Parents 1.5

Imagine that, 6.4 children die at the hands of the very agencies that
are supposed to protect them and only 1.5 at the hands of parents per
100,000 children. CPS perpetrates more abuse, neglect, and sexual abuse
and kills more children then parents in the United States. If the
citizens of this country hold CPS to the same standards that they hold
parents too. No judge should ever put another child in the hands of ANY
government agency because CPS nationwide is guilty of more harm and
death than any human being combined. CPS nationwide is guilty of more
human rights violations and deaths of children then the homes from which
they were removed. When are the judges going to wake up and see that
they are sending children to their death and a life of abuse when
children are removed from safe homes based on the mere opinion of a
bunch of social workers.

THIS IS AMERICA'S HIDDEN HOLOCAUST

Currently Child Protective Services violates more constitutionally
guaranteed liberties & civil rights on a daily basis then all other
agencies combined, Including the National Security agency/Central
intelligence agency wiretaping programs…

A recent study has found that 12-18 months after leaving foster ca

30% of the nation’s homeless are former foster children.
27% of the males and 10% of the females had been incarcerated
33% were receiving public assistance
37% had not finished high school
2% receive a college degree
50% were unemployed

Children in foster care are three to six times more likely than children
not in care to have emotional, behavioral and developmental problems,
including conduct disorders, depression, difficulties in school and
impaired social relationships. Some experts estimate that about 30% of
the children in care have marked or severe emotional problems. Various
studies have indicated that children and young people in foster care
tend to have limited education and job skills, perform poorly in school
compared to children who are not in foster care, lag behind in their
education by at least one year, and have lower educational attainment
than the general population.

80 percent of prison inmates have been through the foster care system.

The highest ranking federal official in charge of foster care, Wade Horn
of the Department of Health and Human Services, is a former child
psychologist who says the foster care system is a giant mess and should
just be blown up.

Four rigorous studies have found that at least 30 percent of America’s
foster children could be home right now if their parents had decent housing.

This study found thousands of children already in foster care who would
have done better had child protection agencies not taken them away in
the first place.
