Just asking.
has anyone ever thought maybe you should have named your baby another
name. OR were you 100% happy with the one you picked? I love Chloe, but I also loved Olivia too. and melanie, AND Victoria...lol....but I stuck with Chloe because I have been calling her chloe for months now, I could'nt imagine her anyother name, but i did wonder if I chose the right one, they should give you more time....lol... I'm not sorry, i think she even looks like a chloe..;-)))) anyone else? http://www.growingfamily.com/webnurs...LID=9T8S0V9F5G |

I've felt kind alike this since Quinn was born. DH and I both liked
Drew and Quinn for boy names so we decided on Quinn and I called him that from the time I was 22 weeks pregnant with him. But, I still really like Drew and I wonder sometimes if we made the right decision. I didn't even think about changing his name while we were at the hospital but now that I've been home for a couple weeks I've wondered off and on if we shouldn't have gone with our other choice. *shrug* Oh well, we still like the name and if we ever have another male child I'm betting Drew will be his name. The only thing I might have changed is the spelling of Colin's name. With Colin Powell's fame, a lot of people use that pronunciation, which I don't like very much. I might have considered Collan or some other variation that made the preferred pronunciation more obvious. Best wishes, Ericka |

The only things I don't like are DS's name is too popular (didn't know it at the time) and DD's name is always mispronounced (should have spelled it with 2 n's). |

But, lol, I do think if I have another little girl in the future Lauren would have made a pretty name for her (that's Rachel's middle name). Jill |

Yes.
I loved Kaylie's name at the time and now it sounds like all the other trendy "Kaitlyn, Hailey, etc" names. Plus the spelling. Ugh. Everyone spells it like Kaylee or Kaleigh, you name it. I wish we had at least used her middle name (Ashlyn) for her first name. But, it does suit her. And out of our other choices, Hayley, Sarah or Elizabeth I still like Elizabeth. Noah's name is perfect for him. His middle name too - Patrick. No regrets there at all. It fits him, he looks like a Noah. I always knew I'd have a Noah and I did. Xander's name, well, we didnt know if we were having a boy or girl and everyone had me convinced I was carrying a girl so I was *sure* it was an Amelia Grace but nope. We had Julian picked out until he was born and I changed it last minute. His full name is Alexander Liam and some days I feel like he's more a Liam than a Xander but who knows... We're pretty much set on Amelia for a girl next time and for a boy, probably Tobias. Kari mom to 3 |

has anyone ever thought maybe you should have named your baby another name. OR were you 100% happy with the one you picked? I'm 100% happy with both names we picked. We sort of knew both names when I was pregnant the first time around, and it was just a matter of which one we used first. When I became pregnant the second time, the second name was at the top of the list but we went through the whole exercise again just to be sure. We were. Their names are Eamon Conner and Quinn Malloy. DH had misgivings about Malloy because Conner honors a member of the family, while Malloy doesn't. But we went through all the other possible names and kept coming up empty- handed. I love the way Quinn Malloy sounds together, and I also love how the name Malloy hasn't really been used much if at all. Sometimes I wish I had "saved" Malloy in case we have a 3rd child, and the child is male. But that just seemed like too many ifs to keep ourselves from using it for Quinn's middle name. :-) -- Alpha mom to Eamon and Quinn |

Well, once we decided that what we were going to name our children, I couldn't imagine them with another name. So I guess I an 100% happy with them. -- Daye Momma to Jayan and Leopold See Jayan and Leo: http://www.aloofhosting.com/jayleo/ Updated 28 Feb 2004 |
