If you erected a high-tech antenna on the perimeter of a school, replete
with flashing lights and occasional zinging sounds, upon seeing it some
parents would make their children ill.

Of course, then he goes and posts that article about how Dick Cheney
was responsible for the 9/11 attacks -- just in case anyone might
mistake John-boy for a sane person.

He also goes on about how he will present all the evidence but later says it
will all be in his book due out before Sept 11. Oh now there is a surprise.

Oh, so it's not recipes? Just as well; don't think my microwave is big
enough anyway.

Children are no more vulnerable to microwave radiation than adults, and
no one of any age is really vulnerable to this type of radiation. While
it is true that direct radiation from a malfunctioning microwave oven
can cause problems at very short range (such as cataracts), it has
simply never been proved that lower exposures have any real effect at
all.

Furthermore, children receive a bigger dose of microwaves by holding a
cellphone next to their ears than they receive from any nearby
transmitting towers.

This point is invariably lost on Luddite morons like John-boy. A
5-watt transmitter that's 20 centimeters from your head (an
overestimate) is saturating you with far more radiation (like 625
times more) than a 5000-watt transmitter that's 50 meters from your
head. One wonders if John runs screaming from anyone using a cell
phone. (I hope so.)
