New to the group, mom of 7 wanted to say Hello!
Hello to all of you! I am Kasia from Poland (Europe). I am 32 and I
have 7 children ages from 7 to 18 years. Six of them are my foster children, only the youngest boy is my biological son. I was married for 6 years to a wonderful guy, but unfortunately I lost him almost 3 years ago in a car accident... We were one of the first foster families in Poland. My husband was such a wonderful man... I miss him with all my heart... Anyway! After his death I had to fight for my children to stay with me, as it was impossible to be a SINGLE foster mom in my country in those days. I had to go on right after I lost my husband, I had to find money and people to help me to keep my children...for him, for my husband! I don't know if you understand my bad English... I am sorry for it. Hope you just "feel" what I was trying to say Well... Apart from beeing a foster mother I work part time as a therapist in the foundation for large families (my children also volunteer). Sorry for writing a book I cannot wait to get to know you all better. Take care girls and good luck with you and your wonderful families. You all are just gorgeous! Kasia widowed mom of Agnieszka(18), Urszula(12), Jarek & Lidia(11), Franek & Dorota(9) and Darek(7) +Our Guardian Spirit, DH and Dad, Staszek (1960-2001)+ |
