Ms. Michaels spent 5 years in prison in NJ for supposedly sexually abusing
children at the Wee Care Preschool.

Her settlement will be costly to the taxpayers.

Fern--it's sad to say that these cases are all to often allowed to
occur. Of course the rights of any individual, according to the
"cohort', doesn't compare to even 1 child receiving a single swat (I
remember reading a post like this from several members of that liberal
elitist group). The "cohort" agenda must be passed---parents/familes
must be punished for their mistakes (sarcasm certainly intended).
Rather than be supportive of families who need it -their issue must
prevail.

Chris, I see it more as JOBS CREATION.

As you are well aware, the Child Abuse industry drives much employment in the
US and indeed the world. At least, NZ and AU, UK.

Unfortunately zealousness by any name is counterproductive.

I believe that CPS has encouraged massive disrespect for the parental bonds and
parental authority.

It is unfortunate that CPS, child protective services have squandered their
capital on their endless *investigations*--instead of actually HELPING
FAMILIES.

NC Appeals Court feels the same way, too--since it affirmed in Stumbo v DSS,
North Carolina, 2003 that DSS or CPA has used poor judgement and squandered
money in its investigation of trivial matter.

Not to mention the unconstitutionality of such intrusions.

It certainly is in your case. Your zealousness has led you to lie, to
misrepresent people's words, and to rely on propaganda as you zealotly strive to
discredit any association that attempts to protect children.

I believe that CPS has encouraged massive disrespect for the parental bonds and
parental authority.

I know. And you are zealous in your belief.

It is unfortunate that CPS, child protective services have squandered their
capital on their endless *investigations*--instead of actually HELPING
FAMILIES.

Zealous in your attempt to discredit CPS, aren't you?

NC Appeals Court feels the same way, too--since it affirmed in Stumbo v DSS,
North Carolina, 2003 that DSS or CPA has used poor judgement and squandered
money in its investigation of trivial matter.

Gee, you and the NC Appeals Court share the same feelings. I wonder if they know?

Not to mention the unconstitutionality of such intrusions.

Terrible. Continue to zealously pursue your zealous attempts to zealously
discredit any and all organizations designed to protect children. Continue to
zealously protect even the most abusive parents.

Zealousness can indeed be counterproductive. You are a living example of your
objection to zealousness.

Thanks, Fern.

Not substantive arguments, La'Vonne.

I suggest you take some lessons from Doug.

Weak. Ad Homs, folks

AD HOMS= Arguments degrading someone's character, rather than presenting facts.

Unfortunately, that is another characteristic of CPS operatives.

Really, they COULD MANAGE Child Protective Services better.

Instead, they endlessly drum up clientele by squandering their resources on
*investigations*

What is CPS' agenda, anyway?

dysfunctional.

Fern,

I guess actually responding to my post was far too threatening. You cut the
entire post. If you had included my post and respond to my points, you would open
yourself up for challenge and criticism. So you chose to do what you did below.
You cut my post and threw out the few meaningless, disjointed, and derogatory
comments below, and hoped that no one would notice.

I suspect that many readers noticed, but few cared. Your pattern is fairly
predictable.
