.... visited me today, for the first time since Caterpillar
was born. That explains the sore nipples, constant switch
nursing, and the fact that I went 2 5-hour stretches today
without nursing or pumping or leaking or painful engorgement.

I suspect it was an ovulatory cycle with an 8-day luteal
phase, based on all other indications. (So if I'd been
doing LAM, I'd have been safe for the allowed 6 months, and
probably 5-6 days longer, but that's it.) I don't have to
worry about wanting to TTC but not wanting to wean to get
AF, which is good. Not that I'm ready to go for #2 anytime
soon, but it's nice to have options.
