4-5 yr. old ( answers to questions! ) :)
Kate, Here ya go, he is 4 years old. 1) Tell what happens when: .... you eat breakfast I eat cereal .....you go to school (or preschool or daycare) I play with Billy .....you go to a restaurant I eat ice cream .....you get sick with the flu my nose hurts ..... you go to a birthday party play (it's to compare the scipts that children create of situations with a child who is a little older. I've already solicited a 6 year old for that part) The second part is "Observing Egocentrism".... normally present in pre-schoolers. The child is to answer: 1) Why does the sun shine? um I don't know 2) Why are balls round? so I can kick it 3) Why does the wind blow? cause the trees shake 4) Why is there snow? so we can go sledding 5) Close your eyes. Can you see me? shakes head no Do you think I can see you? shrugs shoulders 6) Do you have a best friend? shakes head yes What is your best friend's name? Billy Does ______ (the child's best friend) have a friend? shakes head yes Who? Justin |

Subject: 4-5 yr. old ( answers to questions! )
From: "'Kate Date: 3/22/2004 9:21 PM Eastern Standard Time Message-id: On 23 Mar 2004 00:30:45 GMT, (Bebelestrnge) Kate, Here ya go, he is 4 years old. Thank you! Hey YW ! This was such a cute assignment. Wish they were all like this! you and me both for sure ! I love it when they are between the ages of 2 and 10, then it starts to get tricky I loved the answer to why balls are round. That's exactly what kids this age are about - they're round for him just so he can play. Kids are so neat. My brother and sister in law have the life ! boys ages 4, 5, and 6 ! It is so much fun when we get together. I asked my brother if he was crazy having them all so close he said " I don't know what to do, all I have to do is look at her and bam she is pregnant!" He is a funny guy. Glad we could help Bev 'Kate |
