He can stand behind his claim all he wants. But he doesn't have any
scientific data to back his claim. All he has is anecdote.

Did it ever occur to him that a lot more of the people who come before
his court have untreated ADHD? With treatment, they wouldn't be there?

Oh gee. People with ADHD have poor judgment and are impulsive. People
who have ADHD are more likely to take ADHD meds. This doesn't mean that
the meds are causing the behavior.

I a court in NYC, you will find that prostitutes are more likely to take
antibiotics for STDs. That doesn't mean that the antibiotics are causing
the STD or the prostitution.

The judge comments add nothing to the story, except a bias uneducated
view, IMHO.

Yeah, some studies show *less* crime when kids with ADHD take the proper
meds.

Because he's a judge, not a doctor. However, he is able to search pubmed
and find the documents himself.
