FOLLOWUP: Kids drinking out of a garden hose

Earlier this month, I asked folks' opinions on the safety of letting
kids drink out of the garden hose. It turns out that our local tv
station recently addressed this issue. The station's consumer
investigator's main concern was the possibility of high lead content in
sitting water. Of course, running the hose first would eliminate (or at
least lessen) the problem.
