Cute baby habits?
Do or did any of your babies have cute habits that you didn't expect? Our
son, Timothy, surprised us with his very first sneeze... right after he went "Ah... choo!" he made a noise kind of like a cross between "..auuuu!" and "owww!" Kind of high-toned, almost like he thought his own sneeze was cute! It was the strangest, yet cutest, thing I've ever seen! I wish I could have gotten it on tape. It amazed everyone! It lasted until he was maybe four or five months old, I think. -- Eric A. Johnson -- Father to Timothy Gabriel Johnson, born 01/20/2003 |

Johnson -- Father to Timothy Gabriel Johnson, born 01/20/2003 Katy has been doing that from about three weeks old (she's seven weeks old now). I didn't know any other babies did that... it really is adorable. Especially since she uses her voice when she sneezes too... The other thing she does that's really cute and unexpected is 'talking' to my breast when I'm getting her in position to latch on.. sounding really high pitched and pitiful "ah-ah-ah-ah". Or if I take to long to get ready, she'll cuss at my breast "aya-aya-aya-uh-uh" (in an angry tone). Marion Mommy to Katy, 10/4/2004 |

Nathanael apparently said "Hello" twice very early on, first time only me
and DH heard it, of course no one believed us, 2nd time there were 5 witnesses, he never did it again. A few months later, about 7 or 8 months old, several times he announced "I want my mummy" to many many witnesses, I even heard it once when I was busy painting and someone else was entertaining him. |
