European car seats - Maxicosi

I've just been reading about 5-pt harness systems, and the general
description of infant car seats on US sites. We have the Maxicosi Citi
which doesn't seem to fit any of the US descriptions - it's 3 pt
harness and doesn't have a T-bar, but from what I've read and heard is
considered very safe, highly recommended, high quality etc.

Anyone in Europe familiar with that model and the general standards?

we had that car seat, I never had any concerns about it, certainly when
looking at lists the came up in the news from time to time of disrecommended
seats, it never came up.
