In this newsletter
- Top ten games of 2004 - The second biggest question of the Christmas season. - New mancala sets - Postage dates At this time of year even the most enthusiastic games player can be exhausted by the question of what to try this Christmas or what to buy for friends and loved ones and there's one question we get asked more than any other: "What can I play with the whole family?" Having spent the year attempting to entice you all into trying new games I too am exhausted, so instead of thinking up my own recommendations I've found the top ten games of this year and gathered them together in a new section imaginatively titled top ten games this year. So if you want a recommendation you know it's coming from the most discerning group of games players out there, people like you. The second biggest question of the month is always: "What's a light present that I can post to the people that aren't here" The answer is …cards. But if you thought that cards came only in sets of fifty two then think again. Some of the world's best designers use card laying as the mechanism for their games creating challenging strategy games for adults that are light to post and practically unbreakable. I've put some of our modern card games up on the website and given them the title smaller strategy games. Traditional and classic card games are still in our card games section I've added some of our nicely finished twin packs that will make good gifts for card players and we still have a whole page devoted to Britain's old favourite; cribbage. Our basic mancala set has been withdrawn, but there is a new board for sale to replace it, we also have a new mancala for kids game where you move round the little animals. The last posting date for standard parcels is the 15th December and the last date for the second class post is the 18th. Please remember that we need time to process your order and send it out and that some games may not be immediately in stock. Things do come and go very quickly at this time of year and we really don't want to disappoint anybody. As ever, if you have any enquiries, get in touch.
