witness to NIP
Where I live we've been blessed with some awesome weather the past couple days
(70's). We went to the local zoo today and it was full of families and babies of all ages. I noticed a couple with a very tiny infant (no more than 2 weeks old I would say) and the baby began to cry. The mom picked the baby up out of the stroller and layed a blanket over her shoulder. I wasn't sure what was coming next and didn't want to stare, but I realized that she was then latching the baby on and proceeding to nurse. All of this was done without exposing any skin. As she walked along no one would ever have known, except of course other nursing moms who would notice the blanket and presume their was a tiny baby under there. I was happy to see this, because in my area it seems that most babies are bottle fed. Just thought I'd share. |
