Please note that Flifer is an advocate of the debunked Feingold diet for
ADHD.

I'm an advocate because the Feingold Program worked so well for our son (still
does as an adult) and others like him.

People might be interested in a booklet that the national organization recently
published. It is available online and the hardcopy (free) can be ordered via
the website:
http://feingold.org/Bluebook/blue.html

Yes, for those who do not have true AD/HD.

However, if someone responds favorably to the diet, they do not have AD/HD.

If so, I wonder how many children on meds (BTW, I not opposed to meds), really
have ADHD. What is important is that the child receive the appropriate
treatment which could be meds, dietary changes, something else or even a
combination.

Agreed. Hopefully, parents wil ltake the time to understand that AD/HD is a
diagnosis of exclusion.

I'm glad we finally agree on something! ADHD can be much more complicated than
many would think.
