Default LLL Question

So, I've managed to nurse two children including through pregnancy and
tandem nursing and I've never quite made it to an LLL meeting. I see on
their website that they have an annual membership fee. At what point do
they request that you obtain memebership?

Thanks,

My LLL says that you never have to become a member--meetings are open to any
current, past, or future nursing moms, but they always stress the benefits
of membership and how it is good to become one. I paid right away, because I
wanted to help support them. There are lots of regulars who are not members
though. It is $36 a year.

I really value my LLL meetings. I don't, and haven't, had any nursing
problems, but I love the mother-to-mother interaction and the opportunity to
get to know other like-minded women.

Thanks ladies! The town over from me has got a toddler meeting which sounds
intriguing. I think I'm gonna try and make it this week.
