Education And Board Certifications

I. Human Pathology, Toxicology, Immunology, and Biochmestry

Ph.D. 1989 Comparative Pathology. University of California Davis,

Davis,

This is not a medical Pathologist able to practice in any hospital.
There is no board certification in Clinical or anatomic pathology.
These individuals are not licensed to perform necropsies.
This is an academic degree and not one licensed to practice medicine.

California. Subject of studies: Human pathology, toxicology,
pharmacology,
medical immunology, medical biochemistry, analytical toxicology,
environmental toxicology, and experimental toxicology. Dissertation:
Toxicokinetics and Toxicity of Vanadate

He is a toxicologist and spare me of the academic course work.

DABT 1994 Diplomate, American Board of Toxicology

He is a toxicologist

II. Veterinary Pathology, Toxicology, Immunology, and Endocrinology

He is not even a veterinary pathologist.
He is not an MD. He is not allowed to perform one single autopsy.

Prove it.

You want me to prove he is not an MD or is not board certified in

clinical
pathology or anatomical pathology?
He has published on toxicology? And renders an opinion on pneumonia? he
cites the work of others and has no primary research or independent work
on
the area of expertise he renders judgment on as far as I can tell.
Why not have Dr Henry Lee look into it as he isn't a pathologist either?
Dr
Lee can read books and render his opinion.

Dr. Al-Bayati received a MVSc in Veterinary Pathology in 1978 from the
University of Cairo, Egypt and a BVMS in Veterinary Sciences in 1975 from
the University of Baghdad, Iraq.

BVMS Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Science
Master of Veterinary Science (MVSc)

Great I was thinking in terms of DVM.

The Veterinary Pathology Residency Program is a one-year period of
professional service training, at the end of which, given satisfactory
performance and mutual interest, the residents generally enter the
Laboratory Animal and Comparative Medicine Training Program and pursue an
advanced degree.

Trainees who wish to pursue board certification by the American College of
Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP) must complete all ACVP training requirements*
and maintain professional skills during the period of training.

Program Goals:
This program will provide post-DVM participants with professional and
clinical experience in veterinary pathology as well as a comprehensive
overview of a research area and facility. In addition, it will allow
residents to work toward veterinary board certification in this specialty
while preparing for the postdoctoral fellowship and graduate school
programs.

http://www.wfubmc.edu/pathology/trai...t_path_res.htm

Does he use the word pathologist or do you?
The research is all toxicology work and animal research.
I fail to see the expertise at all with this case. No direct connection what
so ever. He does not determine cause of death in humans on a regular basis.
If that's the best they can do is somebody with a masters in vet science and
somebody with a PhD in something that has written about Vanadium in rodents
or benzene in drinking water then they really need to find something else.

Maybe I should call myself a pathologist.

Christine Maggiore and her husband, Robin Scovill, are challenging the
Los Angeles County Coroner's finding that their three-year-old daughter
Eliza Jane Scovill died from Aids-related pneumonia.

We interview pathologist Dr. Mohammed al-Bayati who has just authored a
report revealing that the child died of anaphylactic reaction to a
prescribed antibiotic, and we speak also Dr. Andrew Maniotis of the
University Illinois at Chicago.

For excellent analysis of al-Bayati's "work" see:

http://tinyurl.com/dam9v

especially this comment by a real pathologist:

A Google search reveals that he is a "pathologist-for-hire", figuring in
many court cases where "alternative" science can get people off. He was
involved in the Yurko case.

Peter Moran

Perhaps you should make it clear, Peter, that you are talking about
al-Bayati, not the person referred to by the immediately-preceding
words "real pathologist".

Perhaps he could tell us just *where* this search revealed the above?

It was al-Bayati who came up with the idea that the baby slaughtered
by Alan Yurko had really been killed by the doctor in the ER.

It was YOU who uses the word *slaughtered*, and YOU and others who
have continued to judge.

It was a court in Florida which recorded a verdict of manslaughter.
Except this time it was baby slaughter.

There were literally hundreds of health-care professionals who have made
judgements otherwise.

There are mad people and people with agendas in every walk of life.
Why is it that these "health-care professionals" can be believed but
others can't?

The toxicological causes of baby Yurko's death was vaccine-and-medication
induced, an overload of drugs and antibiotics.
The child have been given high doses of sodium bicarbonate and heparin,
which cause cardiac arrest and internal bleeding and produce symptoms
similar to SBS.

There was no "baby Yurko". The baby's name was Alan Ream. The baby's
mother did not marry the killer until after he had been convicted.

The baby died from injuries sustained in a beating. He had healing
broken ribs from previous assaults. And before you say "So you say",
the quote below comes from the sacred and revered Dr Buttram.

Quoting from Dr Buttram:

Findings included minor contusions of both temporal areas of the head
and a small bruise of the right lower eyelid. The brain was grossly
edematous, (which may have been the precipitating factor of the apnea
preceding hospital admission). There were large, fresh subdural
hemorrhages, right and left hemispheres, predominantly right; also
hemorrhages at the base of the brain and over some areas of the spinal
cord. The brain was grossly edematous. There was a small focus of
bleeding in the right eye (bleeding absent in the left eye). In
addition there were old, healing fractures in the 5th, 6th 7th nd 10th
ribs, all posterior on the left. The lungs were mildly hemorrhagic and
were congested with scattered inflammatory cells, indicating an
interstitial pneumonitis.

WRONG... he is not a medical pathologist:
http://catallarchy.net/blog/wp-conte...t_on_Eliza.pdf

Nicholas J Bennett MB/Ph.D claims to have a medical degree, I don't see MD
behind his name.

Because, and I will say this v e r y s l o w l y, he got his medical
degree in Britain. See where it says "MB"? That means "Bachelor of
Medicine".

he must be in hiding, a search turns up VERY little.

What's more, the fact that HCN, posted the pdf, most likely means this
Nicholas J Bennett most likely is a *paid off* witch hunter. A search
under
his name with the MB/Ph.D turns up very little. WHY would any doctor, use
MB
and NOT MD behind his name?

Remember when Sandra Cabot was lying about having "MD" when she has
"MB,BS"?

NO, I remember, YOU lying and saying she lied.

She changed her web site to show the university that she actually
graduated from and she doesn't say "MD" on her books any more.

YOU LIAR.

You also LIED about others as well.

As in Dr. Burzynski.

When have I lied about Burzynski? Hulda Clark put in the work to get a
real PhD, but Burzynski (a competitor who, if he is right, totally
contradicts everything that Clark says) made his up. He didn't have a
PhD when he arrived in the US and there is no record of him receiving
one since. If he puts PhD after his name he is lying.

Why don't you get it? Burzynski lies about his degree. Clark doesn't.
Why would you support a competitor to your friend?

snip bull**** that doesn't get any truer by repetition

You snipped his background, Robert.

Your *organized medicine* brain washing is showing.

So are you seeking opinions from those that are not *organized medicine*?
Why present his *organized medical* credentials?
He has a Masters in Vet science and a PhD in toxicology right?

Regarding my own background, in the past six years I have written
approximately 80 medical reports in defense of parents whom I believed to
have been falsely accused of violent physical child abuse, largely

involving
charges of SBS. With few exceptions in these cases, I have observed a
troubling pattern of abandonment of the usual thoroughness one finds in
medical centers once suspicions of SBS were raised. In most cases that I
have reviewed, in my opinion, there have been varying degrees of

negligence
in working through differential diagnoses, sometimes missing the most
obvious of alternate non-traumatic causes.

After autopsy? What does SBS have to do with that case of pneumonia?

In the present case of the autopsy report on Eliza Jane Scovill, in

my

It has nothing to do with SBS.

opinion, there is a similar pattern; that is, diagnostic assumptions have
been made based on superficial evaluation with little if any attempt to
investigate other possible causes of the child's three-week illness
culminating in death.

An autopsy is superficial?

Regarding Dr. Al-Bayati, I consider him to be a master craftsman in

a
broad field of medical expertise.

There is no such thing as a master of a broad field of medical expertise.
What in the world does that mean?
There is no such thing as a general expert. Expertise is limiting by nature.

His workups are exhaustive and meticulous,
yet plainly written so as to be accessible to reasonably educated
non-medical people. He makes no statements or claims that he does not
document in the medical literature.

He has no hands on experience or expertise as far as I can tell. What does
he do daily? Toxicology?

In the case of Eliza Jane Scovill, I first reviewed the autopsy
report, which did in fact give rise to personal concerns and doubts.
However, after going through Dr. Al-Bayati's report point-by-point, he put
all doubts to rest. There is no question in my mind that his report
accurately describes the true causes in the death of Eliza Jane Scovill.

Harold E Buttram, MD, FAAEM
Quakertown, PA, USA

If he reviewed it then why isn't it he who is called? I think the answer is
obvious why that isn't the case.

Comments from Dr. Andrew Maniotis
Dr. Maniotis is a Professor of Pathology and Program Director in the Cell
and Developmental Biology of Cancer at the University of Illinois at
Chicago.

November 21st 2005

This is a PhD who works for the Department of Pathology and is a Professor
of Pathology but is not a pathologist who is an MD and determines cause of
death. These are specialized PhD's who do research within a narrow branch of
research.
They have no medical training and no clinical or anatomical pathology
training.
They can not be medical directors of any clinical laboratory by federal or
state law.
They are great for very specific topics that pertain to their area of study.
You have to ask him if he considers himself a pathologist.

Dr. Andrew Maniotis (and al-Bayati) are also members of the advisory
board of Christine Maggiore's group, Alive and Well.

That's funny. Like I said those PhD's are only good for the limited field of
their expertise. That should serve as a warning for all out there.

I read that. He is NOT a medical doctor, NOT board certified by the ABMS:

Results for Criteria: "al-Bayati"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are sorry, but there are no entries which match your search criteria,
please try one or more of the following:

While he may be a toxicologist, he is not qualified, IMNSHO, to render an
opinion on diagnosis. The link I provided is to an excellent analysis of
the facts and findings, and, the comment is from a fellow who is, because
he is a coroner.

No need to search for anything EXCEPT the man's name, and correct title.

I had his correct title: PhD in toxicilogy. Not forensic pathology. He is
NOT a coroner.

Dr. Mohammed al-Bayati

Proving, Mark Probert is a BLATANT LIAR.

Where is the lie? Do remember to specifically point it out.

TWO LINES UP, IDIOT!!!!

I ALREADY DID!

I did a search on his last name, which is all that the search engine
needed at ABMS. I found nothing.

I even tried it with this:

Results for Criteria: "al-Bayati"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are sorry, but there are no entries which match your search criteria,
please try one or more of the following:

The problem YOU are having is that YOU are ASSuming that the American
Board of Toxicology is a member board of the American Board of *Medical*
Specialties. It is NOT. See:

http://www.abms.org/member.asp

Need I point out that the American Board of of Veterinary Toxicology is
also not a member?

Therefore, I did NOT lie in any manner. YOU, as usual, did not want to
understand the TRUTH and called me a liar.

BTW, this IS an *important distinction*, since the standards to be board
certified by the American Board of Pathology are quite different that
that of the American Board of (Veterinary) Toxicology. One

http://www.justiceforej.com/

Dr. Mohammed Al-Bayati is a respected pathologist (PhD) and a dual board
certified toxicologist with over twenty-five years experience and over
forty articles published in the scientific and medical literature.

So? As was pointed out, and as you found, but chose to ignore, he is a
hired gun witness.

I noticed YOUR LIE!!!!!

You noticed what your prejudices wanted you to notice. There was NO lie
whatsoever.

The only error I made was forgetting that you jump to calling me a liar.
I should have been far more specific.

With what I posted here, I have clarified everything beyond any doubt.
al-Bayati is a PhD pathologist, NOT a medical doctor, and is NOT trained
in Forensic Pathology, which is a certifiable subspecialty of the
American Board of Pathology.

I. *Human Pathology*, Toxicology, Immunology, and Biochmestry

The FIRST ONE LISTED! IDIOT!

Human pathology but not from a medical standpoint. He still does not
have training as a FORENSIC PATHOLOGIST.

M.V.Sc. 1978 Veterinary sciences. University of Cairo, College of
Veterinary Medicine, Cairo, Egypt Subject of studies: Veterinary
pathology and physiology. Dissertation: Histopathological and
histochemical changes in the adrenal glands of the Egyptian Buffalo with
follicular cysts and inactive ovaries.

BVMS 1975 University of Baghdad, College of Veterinary Medicine, Baghdad,

Interestingly, no PhD is mentioned there....

Ph.D. 1989 Comparative Pathology. University of California Davis, Davis,

California. Subject of studies: Human pathology, toxicology,
pharmacology, medical immunology, medical biochemistry, analytical
toxicology, environmental toxicology, and experimental toxicology.
Dissertation: Toxicokinetics and Toxicity of Vanadate

SECOND LISTED, IDIOT!!!

He did not get his PhD abroad.

Interestingly, UC Davis has a large program in Animal Sciences, a
discipline that parallels the studies he has done. I do not find any
research he has done on humans, and, further, I do not see any evidence
that he has performed any research in *forensic pathology*.

Christine Maggiore and her husband, Robin Scovill, are challenging the
Los Angeles County Coroner's finding that their three-year-old
daughter Eliza Jane Scovill died from Aids-related pneumonia.

We interview pathologist Dr. Mohammed al-Bayati who has just authored
a report revealing that the child died of anaphylactic reaction to a
prescribed antibiotic, and we speak also Dr. Andrew Maniotis of the
University Illinois at Chicago.

For excellent analysis of al-Bayati's "work" see:

http://tinyurl.com/dam9v

especially this comment by a real pathologist:

A Google search reveals that he is a "pathologist-for-hire", figuring
in many court cases where "alternative" science can get people off. He
was involved in the Yurko case.

Dr. Mohammed al-Bayati

Proving, Mark Probert is a BLATANT LIAR.

Let us take a moment to examine the parents of this dead child. Were they
merely naive?

Let's not.

Mark Probert's diversion snipped.

restored:

Snipped...I discussed the study and the so-called "expert" who is a
hired gun that rents by the hour (think "Cabaret")....

This is what Jan removed, as she cannot handle the truth:

Let us take a moment to examine the parents of this dead child. Were
they merely naive?

Robin Scovill is a movie maker. In 2004 he made “The Other Side of AIDS”
where he promotes the idea that HIV does not cause AIDS.IOW, he makes
money off of lying that can kill people. Sadly, it killed his daughter.

Mom is no better:

Functions: Co-PI, toxicologist, and pathologist.
k.. Project Title: Studies of Biological Behavior of Pu-241 and Am-241 in
Rat, Dog, and Primate. Agency: United States Department of Energy. Duration:
72 months (1980-1986); Functions: Investigator, toxicologist, and
pathologist.
l.. Project Title: Respiratory Tract Deposition of Inhaled Aerosols in
Small Rodents. Agency: United States Environmental Protection Agency.
Duration: 60 months (1980-1985); Amount: $500,000; Functions: Investigator,
toxicologist, and pathologist.
Dr. Al-Bayati holds U.S. Patent number 5,686,237 dated November 11, 1997 for
Use of biomarkers in saliva to evaluate the toxicity of agents and the
functions of tissues in both biomedical and environmental applications.

None of which qualifies him for status as a medical doctor, or
veterinary doctor, who can perform autopsies or necropsies.

If you are claiming that he is trained to perform autopsies on humans
and render a medical opinion as to the cause of death, then prove it. So
far, you have not.

Yeah, yeah. Pretty much Duesberg zombism. Who are they going to blame
for this, if not antibiotics and the medical profession? It would have
to be themselves.

Yeah, for trusting allopathic medicine

"In the towns with meningitis clusters, there were almost 50% more
prescriptions for antibiotics and nine times more case of the killer disease
than in the low-incidence" towns. One antibiotic drug, erythromycin, which
is marketed under a variety of brand name and is used as a routine treatment
for sore throats appeard with mysterious frequency or the prescriptions. It
was being used up to four times more often in the towns with the serious
meningitis problem than in the other towns."--Media 1996

BVMS Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Science
Master of Veterinary Science (MVSc)

Great I was thinking in terms of DVM.

The Veterinary Pathology Residency Program is a one-year period of
professional service training, at the end of which, given satisfactory
performance and mutual interest, the residents generally enter the
Laboratory Animal and Comparative Medicine Training Program and pursue an
advanced degree.

Trainees who wish to pursue board certification by the American College of
Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP) must complete all ACVP training requirements*
and maintain professional skills during the period of training.

http://www.afip.org/acvp/acvpgen.html

Program Goals:
This program will provide post-DVM participants with professional and
clinical experience in veterinary pathology as well as a comprehensive
overview of a research area and facility. In addition, it will allow
residents to work toward veterinary board certification in this specialty
while preparing for the postdoctoral fellowship and graduate school
programs.

http://www.wfubmc.edu/pathology/trai...t_path_res.htm

The participant in the training program must be a DVM. al-Bayati is not.

No, but the rebuttal by Nick Bennett, an MB/Ph.D. (which means that in
addition to his Ph.D., he has a degree in human medicine, since the MB
is the UK acronym for that degeee) and, his Ph.D. thesis concerned the
molecular biology of HIV. He is surely far more of an expert and better
qualified to render an opinion that al-Bayati is.
