Foster homes sought for abused, needy kids in Palm Beach County
Sun-Sentinel Posted March 28 2005 Palm Beach County child-welfare agencies have launched an ad campaign to recruit foster homes for abused and neglected children. The ad, which features a number of children's faces, will run on 10 Palm Tran buses for the next three months. Child & Family Connections and its subcontracting agencies recruited more than 160 foster homes over the past two years. But more homes are needed to care for teens, sibling groups of three or more children and teen mothers. For more information about becoming a foster or adoptive parent, call 800-981-5437.
