I also bought my friend a pearl necklace and pearl earrings. Only the posts
and the clasps were silver. She loves sterling silver so not to worry. She
went to a local jeweler to get her fingers sized so I could buy her a bunch
of other stuff too.

I once bought a friend some zircon post earrings, she liked them so much so
that she would have liked a pendant to go with them. she asked me to look
out for her? she asked me if I thought $100 would be enough? She was able
to afford more but didn't want to touch her savings. IShe also wanted a 21
to 24 inch chain. She didn't know what lengths they normally come in. If
that makes it too expensive 18 will be okay she told me.

she even wanted me to help her sister source some stones and some jewelry.

part of the problem with zircon is I've seen them most commonly as
substitutes for diamond stud earrings. I've seen a few rings in white
zircon, they're a bit more common now than they were in the past. But
pendant, I've never seen at any price. One could get a loose one and make
a nice pendant, I guess

My friend also told me she saw a mutual friend at the strawberry festival.
She told her about Nick dying, she didn't know. She used to do all this
poetry about breastfeeding, some of it was really wonderful. Some of it
was not. She reminded her of his poem, SHE IS A BIG WOMAN AND I AM A
LITTLE-LITTLE MAN. I remember him doing that, it was so funny. What an
incredible absence...I want to do something. ..my friend wants to do
something. she's thought about a poetry slam....she's thought about Relay
for Life which is coming up...it all seems so not enough
