'K What the hell is your problem? Paul commented to me that he was going to the islands for the new year and I said he sucks. There was no sexual innuendo there..... Kate made the extra comment. He did not take it off topic, he told you exactly how he felt. That hurt I am sure but his thinking might be the JUDGES thinking too. Better get use to it. T |

I think the system does make the mother pay child support, if she works and earns money. Karen No, typically the CS system is sexist. Do some research if you like. Don't assume just because it should be that way that it is. If a mother is told to pay support, it is also typically lower then when the tables are turned. And enforcement is next to non existent. It takes a while but they catch up with the deadbeats ! LMAO....... sometimes. They really don't pursue women as hard as men though. Research it. T |

Across the top is the province/territory of residence, and down the side is the income level of the noncustodial parent. Embedded are figures at each level for each number of kids up to, as I remember, four, and after that the additional amount. It's applied to determine the amount expected of a noncustodial parent, regardless of gender. When it came in about ten years ago it took a lot of unnecessary rubbish out of the courts. Cele Tables or not, judges can make there own ruling. I am not going to get into a major thing about the CS system, that is better done elsewhere. I use to think things were equal but have since found out they are not. Ooopp..... you are way up north??? I forgot. Up there, things might be very different. Tiff |

Cripes she is clueless.............they don't give a crap about low income individuals.........the dirty little secret is that the CS agencies get a kickback from the state and feds for every dollar of CS they collect. It costs them more chasing the low incomes than what they get back, so the aggresvely pursue the high income cases. T |

(Bebelestrnge0721) wrote in message ... Hi all that are aware of our situation. A turn of events hit our household last night when we picked up the mail. Seems after almost 11 months, and two weeks [snip] It's seems possible to me that the paternal grandparents are not materialistic and are petitioning with genuine intentions for the sake of the baby. Your daughter does not seem fit to be a mother right now. If you feel you are fit, perhaps you should try and adopt the baby. Karen That is not an option because it would require consent from the father. I would say it is better than 50/50 odds that primary custody will be awarded to father at this point, and the mother will be required to pay child support. yeah right Paul........ you really think the system would do that? lol (make the mother pay support) I should have said 'ordered'.......they will order CS from the mom, but doubtful they would enforce it. How you doing by the way? Hanging in there........doing lots of chauffeur work LOL. Looking forward to New Yeas in the Carribean again :-) Can I come? ~bats eyelashes~ You trying to make Tiff jealous again? LOL Christine |

"Bebelestrnge0721" wrote in message ... snip facts Guess not, guess it has to be a fight now. This is a damn shame. Bev Judges see this often. The father sues for 'custody' when pressed for child support. You hang in there Bev. Your daughter is on the track to recovery and therapy is important to her now. I will keep you in my thoughts and send you good vibes. (((((BEV))))))) V |
