X-ray radiation, viruses identified as cancer agents
Several viruses - including some sexually transmitted - and
radiation from X-rays have been added to the Department of Health and
Human Services' growing list of cancer-causing agents.

There is a new view that some scientists have that there is
no safe level of radiation. Even one gamma ray, alpha
particle, or cosmic ray can cause a mutation that leads to
anything from evolution to death.

At the same time, there are many conditions that would cause
a shortening of life or a dramatic decrease in quality of life
it it were not treated since the treatment starts with an X-Ray.

You have to balance this out...a high chance for a dramatic
increase in quality of life today versus a small chance of
something bad happening later on. If I have a broken arm
or a bum tooth, I am going to take the X-Ray and get it
fixed rather than suffer for the rest of my potentially
slightly longer life.

Unless you're next to it 24/7 for 20 years straight, i think you're
probably safe from it.

Hey, and guess what? If a magical cure for all cancer is found tomorrow,
you'll *still eventually die*. Being born is a death sentence -- deal with
it.

The World Health Organization has determined that the leading cause of
death worldwide is birth. They found that birth is a
sexually-transmitted disease, and is 100% fatal.
