After pregancy Cold Chills
Wife is been having cold chills after the pregancy (gave birth to baby
7 days ago). is this normal? what's causing it? she suddenly gets very cold, is it because of low/hight blood pressure or excess bleeding. does that make any sense? did anybody have such issues after giving birth? |

Totally normal. It's hormones resettling, or something like that. Took me totally by surprise and scared me, 'cause it was summer and suddenly I'd get freezing chills, and I had to wear about 3-4 layers of clothes. I wish that the books about pregnancy mentioned this!!! -- Anita -- |

I was shaking out of control after I had Chloe, But it was only in the
hospital.... they said it was my hormones coming back down and the epidural wearing off.... I had to laugh, when DH and my dad made a joke, ( dh said ..=91=91whew, that is my wife coming back to normal=92=92 kinda like getting the demons out of me...LOL,,,,because while I was pregnant, I was on one big PMS mission...LOL... |

I think it is normal. I constantly shook after having Eva. I think my
doctor told me it was hormones trying to get back to normal and the fact that I had an epidural could be the cause also. Kay Eva 9/2002 little boy 1/2005 "farhan" wrote in message om... I was cold for some time after having DD. For one, my temperature was close
to a full degree celsius higher during pg, secondly, I'd lost the little hot water bottle I kept out front! Normal, I'd say, as long as she's been checked and has no fever/infection etc. -- Amy, Mum to Carlos born sleeping 20/11/02, & Ana born screaming 30/06/04 email: barton . souto @ clear . net . nz (join the dots!) http://www.babiesonline.com/babies/c/carlos2002/ "farhan" wrote in message om...
