Baby Galileo

Hi!

Can anyone tell me what lower age limit Baby Galileo is for? I'm
looking for some good dvds for little ones...anything "1 year
plus"...any others in this series besides Mozart, Bach, Neptune and
Shakespeare? Any others not in this series that your children have
really enjoyed? Any and all suggestions most welcome...

My daughter's alltime favorite videos are the Signing Time series.
Bought when she was ~18 months and she still loves them (27 months).
Recommended to a friend whose son was 13 months, and he also
loved them. You can see and excerpt and buy them at: www.signingtime.com

She also really liked the little people videos (still does). She watched

baby bach and mozart until probably ~18 months, then lost interest.
She liked baby Doolittle too (animals). She has a Baby Animal Songs
video that she likes because it combines favorite things, animals, kids
and songs!

Now that she's older she likes Clifford and Thomas the tank engine.

Well, I'm embarrassed to admit this, but we have all of the Baby
Einstein DVDs. I usually cycle through them on the mornings she's
with me - I play them when I take a shower to keep her out of trouble!

My 21-month old LOVES LOVES LOVES Baby Galileo. She's fascinated with
the moon, and calls the video "moon" (while pointing to the TV). I
like it too, despite the different style of puppetry, though I'm
getting kind of sick of it, because all of a sudden, she has an
opinion on it, and THAT's what she wants to watch.

In my opinion, the original Baby Einstein is the worst of the videos.
Next come of the Baby [composer]. They aren't bad or anything, but I
like Baby Shakesepare, VanGogh, Newton, Neptune (another kiddo
favorite) Doolittle(s) better. Kivi likes all of them well enough,
but seems to like the Doolittles, Neptune and Galileo the best.

The ages on many of them is 1 month to 99 years.

Ah, that sounds like I play all of them for her when she's with me. I
mean that we watch a different one each day, but usually only one, and
not every day.
