Default Can Men get Organized?

I have been taken to court by the IDPA (Illinois Department of Public Aid
Child Support Enforcement) numerous times because they can't correctly
calculate my CS. I show up at court and their States Atty. already has
their mistake figured out and I don't even have to see the Judge. And then
a few weeks or months later IDPA does it again. One day they decided to
skip the entire court process and just ordered arrearage to be withheld by
garnishing my wages, it took them some 8 months to get that stopped. I have
read similar stories of injustice happening to many others.

Can men get organized and get together to fight these kind of things? Women
have their women's rights, gays have their gay rights, why can't men have
rights too? I'm just a father that loves my kids and pays their support
just like the court ordered, it is deducted from my paycheck automatically.
My kids have to work after school to support themselves while my ex buys
herself a sport car.

I was just thinking that if men could get together on these things we could
make just as much noise as the gay rights folks can (I'm reasoning that
there are more men than their are gays).

You can sue any government agency for incompetent services, can use small
claims court up to the value of $5,000

Wasn't too long ago the Immigration Dept was sued for not getting green
cards issued in time to legal immigrants.
These people lost jobs and homes because because their temp status ran out
ad could not prove their legal ability to work here.

People have no idea of the nightmare of the Child Support system, until it's
a public issue no action will ever take place to correct it.

Exactly, we hear about deadbeat dads all the time. I'll bet the general
public doesn't know that some of these are considered deadbeat dads for not
paying support on children that are not theirs. Others are deadbeat dads
because CSE can't calculate CS correctly.

I don't know why they just don't do CS like they do other payroll
deductions. That way if someone has an income their CS is automatically
deducted. I was hospitalized for 2 months and out of work for over 3 months
one time. I couldn't get out of the ICU to have CS orders temporarily
suspended. Good thing I didn't die, they would have had to repossess my
coffin to help pay the CS.

We heard about the atrocities in Kuwait but we don't very often hear about
the atrocities of our government and legal system on NCP's. We need to get
the word out so next time a politician talks about cracking down on deadbeat
dads, perhaps someone will ask why a man was jailed for not paying support
for kids that he didn't even know.

It's too easy to beat up on Dead Broke Dads because they don't have a voice
or the money to fund a campaign to bring attention to the abuses in the C$
system.

Politicians have built their careers on the backs of NCP parents who fall
behind their payments for many reasons.

Layoffs, injury, lower paying jobs and how many soldiers came back from the
war only to be arrested as soon as they touched American soil for failure to
pay the high rates set when they were working in the civilian world.

I hate the true Deadbeat too, the guy that walks away from his child or
abandons children that know him, but these types are far and few between and
tend to be more women that dump their kids for the new boyfriend.
Everyone in the CS system should not be tarred with same brush, most
arrearages are created by the system because they are out of touch with
reality and are not flexible with the times.

Their response is something along the line of "well it's your responsibility
to keep track of your own children". The only way I know of to accomplish
this is to stalk the prostitute for at least nine months to determine
whether or not she chose to give birth. And then, should she make such
choice, force her to do a DNA test on her child. Both of which are crimes!
Am I missing something here?

Problem is the gays are backed by bigger guns than are fathers. So, who's
willing to go up against them first?

They are fully in touch with reality. They know EXACTLY what they're doing
and the damage they are inflicting upon fathers and children. But guess
what, power and money trumps any adverse consequences bestowed upon innocent
others because of their addiction to same.
