My kids did this sometimes. I wouldn't describe what they did as crying lustily, though. There was a particular kind of "I need to go to sleep but I'm too tired" wail they got, and if you put them down there was a kind of "waaaah, hink, waaaah, hink" noise, not very loud, and gradually the waaaahs would get further and further apart and suddenly they'd stop. --Helen |
