Default reimbursing welfare

If a court has required a father to pay child support and the mother
(never married to the child's father) goes on welfare - does the
father have to pay the state back for welfare benefits?

My answer's not as good as werebat's, but in short, YES.

However, until QUITE RECENTLY a welfare wench who moved into the house of a
man made the MAN responsible for the support and maintenance of the kid
(usually kids)...it was called the "man in the house statute".

Although the statute did not limit under which circumstances to which it
would be applied, it apparently wasn't applicable when a woman was just a
whore and moved in with another man with another dad's kid(s). My ex-wife
was just such a whore -- TWICE.

Of course, Virginia prefers punitive actions against dads...so they took the
statute off of the books.

The father's CS payments go to the state to offset the amount of welfare
benefits paid by the state. The father does not have to pay 100% of the
welfare benefits, just the CS order amount. If the father's CS order
exceeds the amount of welfare benefits paid by the state, the excess is
passed through to the mother.

CSE and its fleet of lawyers tie the man up like a spider would,
chortling and licking their chops the whole while, and then hang him to
twist in the wind while they see how many pieces they can nibble off of
him before he stops making funny noises.
