HELP! 9mo doesn't like formula
As Ryan said the baby has not been happy about formula since she was 5
months old, and now is 9 months old, so maybe breastfeeding stopped a while ago? Still this is a breastfeeding group..... -- Andrea mom of 5 - latest addition Kamron David. |

I guess I posted it in the wrong group (I did post to other groups). I should have posted early when my wife still could pump. Now is too late, the breastfeeding has stopped for months. My wife is employed and may be because of her busy schedule or some other reason, her breast milk was not enough. That's when we started the switch. It was a very smooth transition for my son. Never anticipated the problem. Thanks for your help anyway… --Ryan |

Your wife was breastfeeding before, and I am sure there have been many moms that have posted here over the years that have switched to formula from the breast for many reasons. I would be tempted to get your little one to drink from a cup, (one that doesn't leak when you tip it up) they also come with soft spouts. Whenever I have switched a baby from breast to bottle it has always been difficult. It's a change in routine, and babies like the breast. I also have ended up having hassle getting the baby off the bottle once he/she needed to go onto a cup, so I will be putting my son on a cup soon to try and avoid the problem. My little one has formula now and again, but is mainly BF. I hope it all works out for you. -- Andrea mom of 5 - latest addition Kamron David. |
